Canon PowerShot V1 Digital Camera – 22.3MP 1.4-Inch CMOS Sensor, 4K60 Video, Dual Pixel AF, Optical IS, USB-C Streaming
The Canon PowerShot V1 Digital Camera is the compact, creator-ready powerhouse built to turn everyday shoots into polished, professional-looking content—without the complexity or bulk of an interchangeable-lens rig—packing a large Type 1.4 back-illuminated CMOS sensor (approx. 18.4 × 12.3 mm, ~22 MP effective) behind a bright, versatile 16–50mm (35mm-equivalent) f/2.8–4.5 zoom for crisp detail, creamy background blur, and clean low-light performance that outclasses typical pocket cameras; add Canon’s renowned Dual Pixel CMOS AF with eye/face detection and you get fast, confident focusing that locks onto your subject and stays there, whether you’re filming yourself at arm’s length, tracking a fast demo, or capturing street moments on the fly.
Designed from the ground up for modern video, the PowerShot V1 records richly detailed 4K UHD with full-sensor oversampling up to 30p and a high-impact 4K/60p option when you need extra smoothness, while a built-in active cooling fan means you can roll with confidence for extended takes—interviews, tutorials, live sets—without the usual compact-camera thermal limits; a 3-stop internal ND filter keeps shutter angles cinematic under bright sun, and Canon Log + HDR PQ support gives creators flexible color for grading, punchy straight-out-of-camera looks, or a true HDR pipeline when you want it. For run-and-gun stability the V1 combines optical image stabilization with enhanced digital IS options, taming jitters for handheld vlogs and walk-throughs; and because audio can make or break a video, you get both a 3.5 mm microphone input and a dedicated headphone jack for real monitoring, plus a multi-function hot shoe for on-camera mics, compact LEDs, or flashes—stack your setup the way you work.
A fully articulating 3.0-inch touch LCD flips cleanly to face you, so framing, setting changes, and touch-to-focus are always one tap away; the streamlined interface keeps essential controls in reach with front and rear dials you can tailor, while creator-focused extras like Product Demo/Close-Up let the camera smartly prioritize the object in your hand so your audience sees exactly what you’re showcasing. Connectivity is creator-grade and business-ready: USB-C for data and charging, micro HDMI for clean output, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for quick transfers and remote control, and plug-and-play USB streaming so the V1 doubles as a pro-looking webcam for Zoom, Teams, and live platforms—turn your studio, shop floor, or home office into a broadcast-quality set in seconds.
Stills shooters aren’t left behind: fire up to 15 fps with the mechanical shutter or 30 fps electronically to catch fleeting expressions and peak action; capture in RAW, JPEG, or HEIF (even RAW+JPEG/HEIF for flexible workflows), then push files through your preferred pipeline for clients, ecommerce listings, or social drops with consistent color and detail. Practical touches matter on a daily carry, and Canon nails them: the compact body (approx. 118.3 × 68.0 × 52.5 mm, about 426 g with battery and card) is easy to pack yet confidence-inspiring in hand; the LP-E17 battery supports a solid day of mixed shooting (approx. 340 shots under standard testing, ~400 in power-save), and USB Power Delivery keeps you going for tethered work or long recording sessions; a single SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I slot (V30/U3 recommended) handles high-bitrate 4K reliably; operating range from 0 to 40 °C means you can produce in typical indoor and on-location environments.
Beyond headline specs, the V1’s intangibles sell it: the 16–50mm equivalent range is purpose-built for creation—ultra-wide framing that flatters arm’s-length vlogging, natural mid-range for interviews and B-roll, fast f/2.8 at the wide end for shallow depth and clean interiors—so you can cover an entire shoot without swapping lenses or carrying extra weight; Dual Pixel AF’s natural, filmic focus transitions elevate your edits; Canon Log provides room to grade a cohesive look across multicam projects; HDR PQ future-proofs your content for modern displays; and the internal ND unlocks proper 1/50 or 1/60 shutter for a cinematic cadence at noon. Whether you’re a solo creator launching a channel, a brand producing daily verticals, a wedding filmmaker needing a discreet B-cam, or a business owner upgrading product videos and webinars, the Canon PowerShot V1 gives you the tools to deliver sharper images, cleaner audio, longer takes, and a faster, more reliable workflow than phones or entry-level compacts—so your content looks premium, your process stays simple, and your audience stays engaged. Choose the PowerShot V1 Digital Camera if you want pro-leaning 4K with unlimited-style recording, a big-sensor look in a pocketable body, creator-centric controls that save time on every shoot, and the connectivity to publish faster and sell more—add it to cart today and turn views into customers with visuals that stand out.
Features:
Large 1.4-Inch Back-Illuminated CMOS Sensor for Superior Image Quality
At the heart of the Canon PowerShot V1 lies a massive 1.4-inch BSI CMOS sensor, significantly larger than the sensors found in most compact and vlogging cameras. With an effective resolution of approximately 22.3 megapixels, it captures extraordinary detail, richer colors, and smoother gradients—even in low-light environments. The back-illuminated design maximizes light sensitivity, reducing noise and enhancing clarity, whether you’re shooting indoors, under artificial light, or during golden hour. This large sensor also produces natural background blur and depth separation typically reserved for mirrorless systems, giving your photos and videos a professional, cinematic look straight out of the camera.
Bright 16–50mm Equivalent f/2.8–4.5 Lens for Versatile Shooting
The PowerShot V1 features a precision-engineered built-in 16–50mm equivalent lens, offering a versatile range that adapts seamlessly to any content type—from wide-angle vlogs and landscapes to medium close-ups and product shots. With a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, it allows more light into the sensor, maintaining beautiful exposure and shallow depth of field even in dim settings. The lens is optimized for sharpness across the frame, while the 9-element, 8-group construction minimizes chromatic aberration and distortion. For creators, this means consistently crisp imagery with smooth transitions between focus points, all in a compact, travel-friendly package.
Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus with Eye and Face Detection
Canon’s acclaimed Dual Pixel CMOS AF system makes focusing virtually instantaneous and incredibly accurate. Each pixel on the sensor is capable of both imaging and phase-detection autofocus, delivering smooth and natural focus transitions ideal for both photography and video. The PowerShot V1 tracks eyes, faces, and subjects with precision, even in fast-paced scenes or unpredictable movement. With over 3,400 selectable AF positions, users enjoy nearly 100% coverage of the frame, ensuring that subjects remain tack-sharp whether they’re centered or off to the side—perfect for vloggers, streamers, and filmmakers who need consistent, professional focus without manual intervention.
Professional-Grade 4K60 Recording with Unlimited Runtime
The Canon PowerShot V1 redefines what a compact camera can do for video creators. It supports 4K Ultra HD recording at up to 60 frames per second, with full sensor readout for sharpness and rich detail. Lower frame rates such as 24p and 30p are also available with full-width oversampling from a 5.7K image area, giving footage the cinematic sharpness expected from far larger systems. What truly sets the V1 apart is its built-in active cooling fan, which allows for unlimited 4K recording without the risk of thermal shutdown—a rare advantage in compact cameras. This means creators can film long interviews, tutorials, or live sessions without interruption, ensuring reliability during crucial moments.
Internal 3-Stop ND Filter for Perfect Exposure in Bright Conditions
The inclusion of a built-in neutral density (ND) filter is a pro-level touch that few compact cameras offer. The 3-stop ND filter enables precise exposure control when shooting outdoors or under intense lighting, allowing creators to maintain cinematic shutter speeds and proper motion blur without overexposing footage. It’s particularly useful for vloggers and filmmakers who need to keep a consistent look regardless of environmental lighting changes. The ND filter can be set to automatic or manual mode, giving full creative control and eliminating the need for external accessories that slow down production.
Optical and Digital Image Stabilization for Smooth, Steady Shots
Blurry footage is a thing of the past with Canon’s hybrid image stabilization system, combining optical stabilization with digital “Enhanced IS.” The optical lens shift corrects for hand movements, while the electronic stabilization further refines footage during motion—ideal for handheld vlogging, walking shots, or filming dynamic scenes without a gimbal. Even at telephoto focal lengths or while filming in 4K, stabilization keeps visuals steady, fluid, and professional. The V1 also offers a subject-tracking IS mode, where stabilization intelligently adapts to your subject’s motion to keep them centered and smooth throughout the clip.
Advanced Video Profiles: Canon Log and HDR PQ
For creators serious about color grading and dynamic range, the PowerShot V1 supports Canon Log and HDR PQ (Perceptual Quantization) modes. Canon Log provides a flatter, low-contrast image optimized for color correction and post-production flexibility, preserving highlight and shadow detail. HDR PQ enables true Rec. ITU-R BT.2100 output for lifelike tone and brightness on HDR-compatible displays. Whether you’re grading for cinematic tones, brand consistency, or a specific mood, these advanced color profiles give you the creative freedom to shape your visual identity with professional precision.
Fully Articulating 3.0-Inch Touchscreen for Versatile Framing
The PowerShot V1’s 3-inch vari-angle LCD touchscreen is fully articulating, allowing effortless composition from virtually any angle—front-facing for vlogging, overhead for creative angles, or low to the ground for cinematic shots. The high-resolution (approx. 1.04 million dots) display offers vivid color reproduction and touch control for focus, exposure, and menu navigation. Combined with Canon’s intuitive interface, this screen makes content creation faster and more natural, especially for solo creators who rely on self-framing.
Pro-Level Audio with Mic Input, Headphone Jack, and Multi-Function Shoe
Audio quality can make or break content, and Canon ensures the V1 matches its visual prowess with professional audio options. The camera includes a 3.5 mm microphone input for external mics, a 3.5 mm headphone output for live audio monitoring, and a multi-function hot shoe that supports digital microphones and other Canon accessories. This setup allows creators to record crystal-clear sound directly in-camera without needing external recorders—streamlining production while maintaining studio-grade results.
Built-In Cooling Fan for Long, Reliable Recording Sessions
Thermal throttling is a common issue in compact cameras—but not with the PowerShot V1. Canon integrated a miniature active cooling fan that maintains optimal internal temperature during prolonged 4K recording or streaming sessions. This ensures consistent performance even during long shoots, whether filming outdoors or under studio lights. The active cooling design transforms the V1 into a truly “unlimited runtime” video tool, unmatched in its class.
Creator-Focused Connectivity for Streaming and Sharing
The PowerShot V1 is designed for seamless modern workflows. With USB-C, Micro HDMI, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, you can connect, transfer, and broadcast effortlessly. The camera supports USB streaming for instant, plug-and-play operation as a webcam in Full HD—ideal for live podcasts, business meetings, webinars, or social media streaming. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity make remote control and wireless file transfer quick and simple via Canon’s dedicated mobile apps, enabling real-time sharing without a computer.
Compact, Portable Design with Professional Ergonomics
Despite its professional-grade sensor and optics, the Canon PowerShot V1 remains sleek and compact, weighing just 426 grams with battery and card included. Its form factor strikes the ideal balance between portability and usability, offering a deep, secure grip, tactile dials, and ergonomic button placement for intuitive control during shooting. The durable construction and lightweight body make it the perfect travel companion for vloggers, content creators, and professionals who demand both quality and convenience.
Extended Battery Life and USB-C Power Delivery
Equipped with Canon’s LP-E17 battery, the PowerShot V1 delivers up to 340 shots per charge, or approximately 400 shots in power-saving mode. When filming, you can power the camera continuously via USB-C Power Delivery, allowing you to record, stream, or tether to a computer indefinitely. This eliminates workflow interruptions and ensures you never miss crucial content during long events or streaming sessions.
Full Creative Control with RAW, HEIF, and High-Speed Shooting
The V1 isn’t just a vlogging camera—it’s a capable still photography tool, too. It offers full manual control, RAW shooting for maximum editing flexibility, HEIF for efficient file handling, and burst rates up to 30 fps using the electronic shutter. These capabilities make it ideal for capturing high-speed motion, candid moments, or product action shots with impeccable precision. Combined with the DIGIC X processor’s fast readout, every frame maintains the sharpness and dynamic range professionals expect.
Product Demo and Close-Up Modes for Content Creators
Canon included special shooting modes that cater directly to online creators. The Product Demo mode automatically prioritizes foreground objects over faces, allowing for seamless focus transitions when showing items to the camera—no more waiting for focus hunting. The Close-Up mode fine-tunes focus distance and aperture for detailed shots of small objects, making the PowerShot V1 perfect for product reviewers, makeup artists, and educators who rely on precise, visually clear demonstrations.

What makes the Canon PowerShot V1 different from other compact cameras?
The PowerShot V1 combines a large 1.4-inch BSI CMOS sensor (approx. 22.3MP) with a creator-focused 16–50mm f/2.8–4.5 lens, 4K60 video, Dual Pixel CMOS AF, a built-in 3-stop ND filter, optical + enhanced digital IS, and an active cooling fan for extended recording—features rarely found together in a pocketable, fixed-lens body.
Does the PowerShot V1 overheat during long 4K recordings?
The V1 includes an active cooling fan and thermal design intended to sustain long 4K sessions (including 4K/30 and many scenarios of continuous capture). As with any camera, extreme ambient temperatures and codec/bitrate choices can affect runtime, but the fan significantly reduces thermal interruptions.
Can I use the Canon PowerShot V1 for live streaming and as a webcam?
Yes. The V1 supports USB-C plug-and-play streaming for platforms like Zoom, Teams, OBS, and social apps. It also provides a clean Micro HDMI output for external encoders or capture cards if you prefer broadcast workflows.
Is there a recording time limit in 4K?
The camera is designed for “unlimited-style” recording in many modes—thanks to its internal fan and power options—so you can capture long interviews, tutorials, or events with fewer breaks for thermal cooldowns or hard time caps.
What memory cards are recommended?
Use SD/SDHC/SDXC UHS-I cards with V30/U3 speed ratings for reliable 4K recording. High-bitrate or long takes benefit from reputable, high-endurance cards and occasional low-level formatting in-camera.
How good is the autofocus for vlogging and product demos?
Dual Pixel CMOS AF covers nearly the entire frame with thousands of selectable positions and dependable eye/face detection. A dedicated Product Demo/Close-Up behavior helps the camera snap focus to items you present to the lens—ideal for unboxings, tutorials, and reviews.
Does the PowerShot V1 have image stabilization?
Yes. It combines optical image stabilization in the lens with digital “Enhanced IS” modes for video. This hybrid approach smooths handheld walk-and-talks, travel clips, and B-roll without requiring a gimbal.
What picture profiles or color options are available for grading?
The V1 supports Canon Log for maximum latitude in post and HDR PQ (Rec.2100) for true high-dynamic-range workflows. Standard Rec.709 options are available for quick, ready-to-share color.
Can I get shallow depth of field and low-light performance from a compact camera?
Yes. The large 1.4-inch sensor and bright f/2.8–4.5 lens enable background blur and cleaner high-ISO results than typical small-sensor compacts, yielding a more “cinematic” look for both stills and video.
Does it have a viewfinder?
No built-in EVF is provided. Composition is via the fully articulating 3.0″ touchscreen, which flips forward for self-shooting and supports touch focus and menu control.
What are the battery and power options?
The camera uses the Canon LP-E17 battery, rated around 340 shots (standard) or ~400 shots (power-saving). USB-C Power Delivery allows external powering/charging during long shoots, streams, or tethered sessions.
Is the camera weather-sealed?
Weather sealing is not specified. For outdoor work in rain/dust, use protective covers and manage exposure to elements, especially around the ports and cooling vents.
What resolutions and frame rates does it support?
You can capture 4K UHD up to 60p (with a crop at the highest frame rate) and oversampled full-width 4K up to 30p. Full HD offers high-frame-rate options (e.g., 100/120p) for smooth slow motion.
Does the V1 support RAW photos and high-speed bursts?
Yes. Stills can be recorded as RAW, JPEG, or HEIF (with RAW+JPEG/HEIF combos). Burst shooting reaches up to 15 fps mechanical or 30 fps electronic for action, candids, or precise product moments.
What audio connections are available?
A 3.5 mm microphone input and a 3.5 mm headphone output provide on-camera capture and real-time monitoring. The Multi-Function Shoe supports compatible digital mics and other accessories.
How does the built-in ND filter help video?
The internal 3-stop ND lets you keep cinematic shutter speeds in bright light without overexposure. This preserves natural motion blur and consistent, professional-looking footage outdoors.
Which creators is the V1 best suited for?
Vloggers, educators, marketers, product reviewers, small studios, event shooters, and hybrid creators who need reliable 4K, strong autofocus, quality audio I/O, and long runtimes in a compact, travel-friendly body.
What connectivity options does it include?
USB-C for data/power/streaming, Micro HDMI for clean output, and built-in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth for remote control and quick transfers. These options support streamlined production and faster publishing.
Does the camera include accessories?
Typical in-box items include the LP-E17 battery, charger, strap, and interface cable (contents can vary by region or bundle). Optional accessories like external mics, compact LEDs, and grips are supported via the hot shoe and 3.5 mm ports.
What are the physical dimensions and weight?
The body measures approximately 118.3 × 68.0 × 52.5 mm and weighs about 426 g with battery and memory card—compact enough for everyday carry yet substantial for stable handling.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
