Features:
26.1MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS 4 Sensor for Detailed Image Quality
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III Mirrorless Camera features a 26.1-megapixel back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor designed to capture detailed photographs with natural color reproduction and flexible editing potential. Its APS-C sensor measures 23.5 × 15.6 mm, providing a larger imaging area than the sensors found in most smartphones and compact cameras. This helps photographers achieve better control over depth of field, particularly when using wide-aperture lenses for portraits, lifestyle photography, and close-up subjects.
The sensor's X-Trans color filter arrangement supports Fujifilm's distinctive approach to color rendering and fine-detail reproduction. With a maximum image resolution of 6240 × 4160 pixels, photographers can crop compositions, create prints, and preserve fine textures without immediately sacrificing substantial image detail. This combination makes the camera suitable for street photography, travel documentation, portraits, and everyday creative work.
X-Processor 5 for Faster Image Processing and Responsive Performance
The X-T30 III pairs its 26.1MP sensor with Fujifilm's X-Processor 5, an image-processing engine that supports advanced autofocus algorithms, high-resolution video recording, and responsive camera operation. Compared with the FUJIFILM X-T30 II Mirrorless Camera, the newer processor provides additional capabilities for subject recognition and video production while retaining the familiar X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor.
For photographers, this processing capability helps the camera respond to changing subjects and shooting conditions. It also enables more sophisticated subject detection, supports demanding video formats, and contributes to the camera's overall versatility. Users upgrading from an earlier X-T30 model gain modern processing features without moving to a substantially larger camera body.
Dedicated Film Simulation Dial for Immediate Creative Control
One of the X-T30 III's most distinctive features is its dedicated Film Simulation dial, which provides direct access to Fujifilm's signature color profiles. Instead of navigating through multiple menu screens, photographers can quickly select different photographic looks using a physical control on the camera.
The camera includes 20 Film Simulation modes, including PROVIA, Velvia, ASTIA, Classic Chrome, REALA ACE, Classic Neg., Nostalgic Neg., and ETERNA. Each simulation offers a different approach to color, contrast, and tonal reproduction, allowing photographers to match the appearance of their images to the subject or intended atmosphere.
Three customizable FS positions also let users save personalized Film Simulation settings. This is especially useful for photographers who regularly switch between street photography, portraits, travel scenes, and everyday snapshots. The dedicated dial encourages experimentation while reducing the amount of editing required to achieve a preferred visual style.
AI-Based Subject Detection Autofocus for More Reliable Subject Tracking
The X-T30 III uses an Intelligent Hybrid Autofocus system that combines phase-detection and contrast-detection technologies with deep-learning-based subject recognition. Its autofocus system can identify and track a variety of subjects, including animals, birds, automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains.
Face and eye detection are also available for photographing people, helping photographers maintain focus on important facial details during portraits, candid moments, and moving-subject photography. Continuous autofocus supports subjects that change position within the frame, making the camera useful for family events, street scenes, pets, and casual action photography.
Subject recognition reduces the need for constant manual focus-point adjustments, allowing photographers to concentrate more on composition and timing. Actual tracking performance still depends on lighting, lens selection, subject movement, and shooting conditions.
Low-Light Autofocus Sensitivity Down to -7 EV
The camera's phase-detection autofocus system is rated to operate in lighting conditions as low as -7 EV under Fujifilm's specified test conditions using the XF50mmF1.0 lens. This capability helps the camera acquire focus in challenging environments where subjects are difficult to distinguish because of limited available light.
For photographers working with evening street scenes, indoor portraits, restaurants, or nighttime environments, improved low-light focusing capability can make shooting more practical. It is particularly useful when paired with compatible wide-aperture lenses that allow more light to reach the sensor.
The -7 EV specification represents a controlled test condition rather than guaranteed performance with every lens. Nevertheless, it demonstrates the camera's ability to support autofocus beyond brightly illuminated environments.
6.2K/30p Open-Gate Video for Flexible Content Production
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III supports 6.2K video recording at up to 29.97 frames per second using a 3:2 open-gate recording format. Unlike conventional widescreen video capture, open-gate recording uses a taller portion of the image sensor, providing additional framing flexibility during editing.
This is particularly useful for creators producing content for multiple platforms. A single recording can provide room to create horizontal videos for YouTube and vertical compositions for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or other mobile-focused platforms, provided the subject is framed appropriately.
The higher recording resolution also offers flexibility when cropping or reframing footage for lower-resolution delivery. Travel filmmakers, independent creators, and photographers expanding into video can benefit from this versatility without needing a separate dedicated video camera.
4K/60p Recording for Smooth, Detailed Video
In addition to 6.2K recording, the X-T30 III captures UHD 4K and DCI 4K footage at frame rates up to 59.94p. This provides additional flexibility for recording movement, creating smooth video sequences, and producing footage that can be slowed down when edited into a lower-frame-rate project.
The higher frame-rate capability is useful for travel footage, lifestyle content, moving subjects, and short-form video production. For example, a creator filming people walking through a city, outdoor activities, or moving vehicles can capture smoother motion while maintaining 4K resolution.
The camera also supports 10-bit H.265 recording, which provides greater color information than conventional 8-bit footage for compatible editing workflows. Higher frame-rate recording can introduce an additional crop, so creators should consider lens focal length when planning wide-angle shots.
Full HD 240p High-Speed Recording for Slow-Motion Footage
The X-T30 III offers high-speed Full HD video recording at frame rates up to 240p. When played back at standard video frame rates, this footage can produce pronounced slow-motion effects that reveal details normally difficult to observe at regular playback speed.
This capability is useful for capturing sports movements, water splashes, fabric motion, outdoor activities, and other fast-moving subjects. It allows creators to add visual variety to their videos without requiring a separate high-speed camera.
High-speed recording has different resolution, exposure, and recording limitations from standard video modes. However, it provides an additional creative option for users who want to incorporate slow-motion sequences into social media content or personal video projects.
Up to 30 fps Electronic Continuous Shooting for Fast Action
The X-T30 III supports continuous shooting at up to 30 frames per second using its electronic shutter with a 1.25× crop. This rapid burst capability helps photographers capture multiple moments during fast-moving action, increasing the opportunity to select an image with the preferred subject position, expression, or timing.
It can be useful when photographing pets, birds, recreational sports, moving vehicles, and spontaneous events. Rather than relying on a single exposure, photographers can capture a sequence and select the frame that best represents the moment.
For situations requiring the full sensor area, the camera also supports uncropped electronic continuous shooting at up to 20 fps. Mechanical shutter shooting reaches approximately 8 fps. Electronic shutter modes may introduce rolling-shutter distortion with rapidly moving subjects, making the mechanical shutter preferable in certain conditions.
Mechanical and Electronic Shutters for Greater Exposure Flexibility
The camera combines a mechanical focal-plane shutter with electronic shutter options, allowing photographers to adapt their shooting method to different environments. The mechanical shutter reaches speeds up to 1/4000 second, while the electronic shutter extends to 1/32,000 second.
The faster electronic shutter is particularly useful when photographing in bright daylight with wide-aperture lenses. It allows photographers to use larger apertures for shallow depth of field without necessarily requiring a neutral density filter.
Electronic shutter operation can also be useful when quieter shooting is preferred, such as during ceremonies, performances, or candid photography. However, it may produce distortion under certain motion conditions or banding under artificial lighting, and flash synchronization is not available when using the electronic shutter alone.
14-Bit RAW and 10-Bit HEIF Support for Flexible Image Editing
The X-T30 III supports JPEG, HEIF, and 14-bit RAW image recording, allowing photographers to choose a file format that matches their intended workflow. JPEG files are convenient for quick sharing, while HEIF offers 10-bit image data in a more efficient format where compatible software is available.
RAW recording preserves additional sensor information for post-processing, providing greater flexibility when adjusting exposure, white balance, contrast, and color. This is particularly valuable for landscape photography, portraits, and scenes with challenging lighting.
Photographers can choose between uncompressed, lossless compressed, and compressed RAW options depending on their storage and workflow preferences. In-camera RAW conversion also allows users to create processed images without relying entirely on desktop editing software.
Advanced Dynamic Range Settings for Challenging Lighting
The X-T30 III includes selectable Dynamic Range settings of 100%, 200%, and 400%, along with automatic dynamic range control. These options help photographers manage scenes containing both bright highlights and darker areas.
For example, when photographing a landscape with a bright sky or a portrait near a window, expanded dynamic range settings can help preserve highlight detail that might otherwise be difficult to retain. The camera also includes HDR shooting options for scenes requiring additional tonal range.
These controls provide greater flexibility when photographing under high-contrast lighting. Some settings require higher minimum ISO values or multiple exposures, so photographers should select them according to the subject and shooting environment.
Customizable Film Recipes and Image Quality Settings
Beyond its built-in Film Simulations, the X-T30 III offers creative image adjustments that allow photographers to develop personalized photographic styles. Available settings include Grain Effect, Color Chrome Effect, Color Chrome FX Blue, Monochromatic Color, and Clarity.
Grain Effect can introduce a textured appearance reminiscent of traditional photographic film, while Color Chrome adjustments influence the rendering of saturated colors. Monochromatic Color controls provide additional flexibility for black-and-white photography.
These adjustments help photographers create a consistent visual identity across their images. Users who prefer a recognizable style for travel photography, personal portfolios, or social media can develop in-camera settings that reduce the need to recreate the same adjustments during editing.
Compact 378 g Body for Travel and Everyday Photography
Weighing approximately 378 g with its battery and memory card, the FUJIFILM X-T30 III is designed for portability without eliminating traditional photographic controls. Its compact body measures approximately 118.4 × 82.8 × 46.8 mm, making it practical for everyday bags, travel accessories, and lightweight camera setups.
The reduced size is particularly useful for photographers who spend long periods walking, exploring cities, or documenting travel experiences. When paired with a compact X-mount lens, the camera can remain relatively unobtrusive compared with larger interchangeable-lens systems.
Its lightweight construction also makes it approachable for beginners who want a dedicated camera without carrying a heavy setup. Overall handling and portability will vary depending on the size and weight of the attached lens.
Traditional Exposure Dials for Direct Camera Operation
The X-T30 III incorporates traditional camera controls, including dedicated shutter-speed and exposure-compensation dials. These physical controls provide direct access to important exposure settings and give photographers a more tactile shooting experience.
For experienced photographers, this arrangement makes it easier to monitor and adjust settings without relying exclusively on touchscreen menus. Beginners can also use the controls to understand the relationship between shutter speed, aperture, and exposure compensation.
The camera's AUTO mode selection lever provides a convenient alternative when quick automatic operation is preferred. This combination makes the X-T30 III suitable for users developing their photography skills as well as those who already prefer manual exposure control.
2.36-Million-Dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder for Eye-Level Composition
The X-T30 III includes a 0.39-inch OLED electronic viewfinder with approximately 2.36 million dots of resolution and 0.62× magnification. The viewfinder provides a direct, eye-level method of composing photographs while displaying important shooting information.
This is particularly helpful outdoors when bright sunlight makes the rear LCD more difficult to see. Photographers can use the viewfinder to concentrate on framing, exposure, and subject placement while maintaining a familiar camera-holding position.
The built-in eye sensor supports convenient switching between the electronic viewfinder and rear monitor. This makes it easier to alternate between eye-level photography and screen-based composition throughout a shooting session.
3-Inch Tilting Touchscreen for Flexible Shooting Angles
A 3-inch touchscreen with approximately 1.62 million dots of resolution provides image composition, menu navigation, and playback control. Its tilting design helps photographers frame images from low and high positions without always needing to place the camera directly at eye level.
Touch autofocus and touch shutter functions allow users to select subjects directly on the display, which can be particularly useful for close-up photography, casual portraits, and spontaneous snapshots.
The screen also supports familiar gestures such as swiping and pinch-to-zoom during playback. Although it does not fully articulate to face forward, its tilting mechanism is practical for photographers who frequently work from unconventional shooting positions.
Built-In Pop-Up Flash for Convenient Fill Lighting
The X-T30 III features a built-in pop-up flash that provides an accessible lighting option when natural or ambient light is insufficient. This eliminates the immediate need to carry a separate flash for basic snapshots or simple fill-light applications.
For example, the flash can help illuminate faces in backlit outdoor portraits or provide additional light during indoor gatherings. It is especially convenient for travel and everyday photography when carrying additional lighting equipment is impractical.
The camera also includes a hot shoe for compatible external flash units, allowing photographers to expand their lighting options as their needs develop. The built-in flash is best suited to relatively close subjects rather than large spaces or distant scenes.
FUJIFILM X-Mount Compatibility for an Expandable Lens System
The X-T30 III uses the FUJIFILM X mount, providing access to a wide selection of compatible interchangeable lenses. This allows photographers to adapt the camera to different subjects rather than being limited to a fixed focal length or built-in zoom.
Wide-angle lenses can support landscapes, architecture, and interiors, while standard primes are useful for everyday photography and portraits. Telephoto lenses expand the camera's capabilities for wildlife, distant subjects, and sports.
This flexibility makes the X-T30 III a practical starting point for building an interchangeable-lens photography system. Users can begin with a general-purpose zoom and gradually add specialized lenses as their interests and requirements change.
Optional XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS Zoom Lens for Everyday Versatility
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III Mirrorless Camera with 13-33mm lens kit pairs the camera body with the compact FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS zoom lens. Its approximately 20–50mm full-frame-equivalent focal range covers wide-angle scenes through natural-looking everyday compositions.
At the wide end, the lens is useful for travel landscapes, street scenes, architecture, and group photographs. Zooming toward 33mm provides tighter framing for casual portraits, food photography, and everyday subjects.
The lens also includes optical image stabilization, which helps reduce blur caused by camera movement during handheld photography. This is particularly useful because the X-T30 III body does not feature in-body image stabilization. The lens is included only with the appropriate kit configuration, not the body-only version.
Digital Video Stabilization for Handheld Recording
Although the X-T30 III does not include in-body sensor-shift stabilization, it offers digital image stabilization for video recording. This feature helps reduce the appearance of camera movement when recording handheld footage.
For travel creators, it can be useful when capturing short clips without a tripod or other camera support. IS Mode Boost is also available for situations where additional stabilization is desirable.
Digital stabilization can introduce cropping, and it does not replace the effectiveness of a gimbal or other support during significant camera movement. Compatible optically stabilized lenses can provide an additional stabilization option.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity for Convenient Image Sharing
Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy allow the X-T30 III to connect with compatible smartphones and Fujifilm applications. These wireless features support image transfer and remote camera functions, helping photographers integrate a dedicated camera into their everyday digital workflow.
For travelers and content creators, wireless image transfer can simplify the process of moving photographs to a smartphone for editing, messaging, or social media publishing. Remote operation is also useful for group photographs, self-portraits, and camera setups where touching the shutter button could introduce movement.
The camera additionally includes USB-C connectivity for supported wired workflows, providing alternatives when wireless transfer is not the preferred option.
USB-C, Micro HDMI, and Microphone Connectivity for Hybrid Workflows
The X-T30 III provides USB Type-C, Micro HDMI Type D, and a 2.5mm microphone input, allowing users to connect compatible accessories for photography and video production.
An external microphone can improve audio capture compared with relying entirely on the camera's built-in microphones, particularly when recording interviews, presentations, or spoken content. HDMI connectivity provides an option for compatible external video monitoring and recording workflows.
Headphone monitoring is also available through a compatible USB-C adapter. These connections make the camera more adaptable for users who want to develop a compact hybrid photo and video setup.
NP-W126S Battery and USB-C Power Options for Everyday Use
The X-T30 III uses the rechargeable NP-W126S lithium-ion battery, with Fujifilm specifying approximately 315 photographs in normal mode and up to 425 photographs in economy mode under standardized testing conditions.
Economy mode can help extend battery life during casual photography sessions, while the rechargeable battery design allows users to carry compatible spare batteries for longer outings. Actual battery performance varies depending on autofocus activity, display usage, temperature, and recording settings.
USB-C connectivity also provides a practical charging and power connection for compatible equipment. Photographers planning extended video sessions or full-day travel photography should consider their expected power requirements.
Single UHS-I SD Card Slot for Straightforward File Management
The camera uses a single SD memory card slot compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards through a UHS-I interface. This familiar storage format makes it straightforward to select compatible memory cards for everyday photography and video recording.
For photographers who primarily capture personal projects, travel photographs, and casual content, a single-card configuration keeps storage management simple. Supported SDXC cards provide ample capacity for high-resolution photographs and video files.
However, the camera cannot create simultaneous in-camera backups across two cards. Photographers working on important assignments should account for this limitation and maintain a reliable file-backup workflow.
Focus Bracketing and Multiple Exposure for Creative Photography
The X-T30 III includes focus bracketing, allowing photographers to capture a sequence of images at different focus distances. This can be useful for close-up photography, product photography, and other situations where maintaining sharpness across a subject is challenging.
Multiple exposure functionality allows up to nine frames to be combined using blending options such as Additive, Average, Bright, and Dark. This provides an opportunity to experiment with layered compositions and creative photographic effects directly in-camera.
Together with interval timer shooting and exposure bracketing, these tools give photographers additional ways to approach subjects beyond conventional single-frame photography.
Automatic Shooting Modes for Beginners and Spontaneous Photography
The X-T30 III includes automatic shooting functionality and scene-oriented options that help simplify camera operation. Available scene settings cover situations such as portraits, landscapes, sports, nighttime photography, sunsets, beaches, flowers, and text.
These modes are useful for photographers who are still learning exposure settings or want to respond quickly to changing scenes. Rather than manually configuring every parameter, users can allow the camera to make appropriate adjustments based on the selected shooting situation.
As photographers gain experience, they can transition to aperture-priority, shutter-priority, programmed auto, or manual exposure modes. This flexibility allows the camera to accommodate both straightforward point-and-shoot use and more deliberate photographic control.
Classic Camera Design with Modern Hybrid Capabilities
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III combines a traditional camera layout with contemporary digital imaging features. Its physical controls, central electronic viewfinder, and compact proportions appeal to photographers who prefer a hands-on shooting experience.
At the same time, the camera provides AI-assisted autofocus, high-resolution video, wireless connectivity, touchscreen operation, and customizable image-processing settings. This combination allows users to enjoy traditional photographic controls without giving up the conveniences of a modern mirrorless system.
For photographers considering an upgrade from the FUJIFILM X-T30 II, the third-generation model's most meaningful distinctions include the X-Processor 5, dedicated Film Simulation dial, improved subject recognition, and expanded video capabilities. These improvements make it particularly relevant to users who want a compact camera for both still photography and creative video production.

These capabilities make it suitable for travel videos, social media content, and hybrid photography workflows. However, its tilting touchscreen cannot face forward, which may make solo vlogging less convenient.
What lenses are compatible with the FUJIFILM X-T30 III?
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III uses the FUJIFILM X mount and supports compatible X-mount interchangeable lenses. Photographers can choose from wide-angle, standard zoom, prime, macro, and telephoto lenses depending on their shooting needs. Compatible third-party X-mount lenses may also be used, although autofocus and other electronic functions depend on the specific lens.
Does the FUJIFILM X-T30 III come with a lens?
Lens inclusion depends on the selected product configuration. The body-only version does not include a lens, while the FUJIFILM X-T30 III Mirrorless Camera with 13-33mm lens kit includes the FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS zoom lens. This compact lens offers an approximately 20-50mm full-frame-equivalent focal range and optical image stabilization. Check the product variant before purchasing to confirm what is included.
Can the FUJIFILM X-T30 III take professional-quality photographs?
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III is capable of producing detailed photographs suitable for portraits, commercial content, travel photography, and other demanding applications. Its 26.1MP APS-C sensor, 14-bit RAW recording, interchangeable-lens system, and manual exposure controls provide flexibility for advanced photography. However, photographers requiring dual memory card slots, weather sealing, or in-body stabilization may prefer a higher-tier camera body.
How long does the FUJIFILM X-T30 III battery last?
The FUJIFILM X-T30 III uses an NP-W126S rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Fujifilm rates it for approximately 315 photographs in normal mode or up to 425 photographs in economy mode. Video battery life varies by recording format, with approximately 45 minutes of actual 6.2K recording under specified test conditions. Carrying a compatible spare battery is advisable for extended photography or video sessions.
Does the FUJIFILM X-T30 III have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?
Yes. The X-T30 III includes built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy connectivity. These features support wireless image transfer and compatible smartphone remote-control functions through Fujifilm software. This allows photographers to transfer images to a mobile device for editing or sharing without removing the memory card.
Is the FUJIFILM X-T30 III weather-sealed?
No official weather-resistant construction rating is specified for the FUJIFILM X-T30 III. Photographers should avoid exposing the camera to rain, excessive moisture, dust, or other harsh environmental conditions without appropriate protection. Users who frequently photograph outdoors in unpredictable weather may benefit from a weather-resistant camera body and compatible sealed lenses.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
