Fujinon Mount for 25x150 and 40x150 Binoculars – 360° Pan and Heavy-Duty Stability
The **Fujinon Mount for the 25x150 and 40x150 Binoculars** gives serious observers the rock-solid support their premium large-format optics deserve. Purpose-built for the massive **Fujinon LB150 Series**, this heavy-duty binocular mount provides the stability, control, and precise positioning needed to get the most from high-magnification 150 mm binoculars without relying on an improvised support system. Designed for compatibility with models such as the **Fujinon 25x150 MT-SX, 25x150 ED-SX, and 40x150 ED-SX**, the mount is engineered to handle binocular bodies weighing approximately 40.8 lb / 18.5 kg while giving users smooth control over demanding long-distance observations. Its **geared-head design** combines a fixed mounting platform with a substantial flat base, creating a secure foundation for astronomical observation, marine surveillance, coastal viewing, nature observation, and other professional or enthusiast applications where stability is essential. The mount provides a complete **360° horizontal panning range**, allowing the binoculars to be directed anywhere around the observation position without repeatedly relocating the support system. Vertical positioning is equally versatile, with an impressive **−20° to +80° inclination range**, delivering 100° of total vertical travel for viewing targets below the normal horizontal line or high overhead. Independent **pan and tilt locks** allow each axis to be controlled separately, helping users position their binoculars accurately and then hold the selected viewing angle securely. At the mount's zero position, the binoculars sit at a slight upward angle, providing a practical starting orientation for observations above the horizon.
Built for an optical system where ordinary tripod heads simply are not enough, the **Fujinon 25x150 and 40x150 binocular mount** provides the substantial support needed to turn these oversized binoculars into a practical, controllable observation platform. The mount itself weighs approximately **18.3 lb / 8.3 kg** and measures about **19.3 inches / 49 cm high**, giving it the physical presence required to complement Fujinon's exceptionally large LB150 optics. When combined with a compatible 18.5 kg LB150 binocular, the binocular-and-mount assembly weighs roughly **59 lb / 26.8 kg before the tripod**, demonstrating why a dedicated heavy-duty mounting solution is so valuable. Rather than forcing users to adapt photographic equipment that was never intended for such a large optical instrument, this Fujinon mount is specifically designed around the requirements of the LB150 platform. Its independent movement controls make it easier to follow distant terrestrial subjects, scan broad sections of the horizon, or reposition the binoculars between astronomical targets while maintaining a stable viewing platform. The dedicated mount can be paired with a suitable heavy-duty tripod for applications requiring mobility, while it can also accommodate installations where the observation system is secured to an appropriate permanent support structure. The **tripod is sold separately**, giving buyers the flexibility to configure the support system around their intended installation. Additional published specifications include a **fixed-platform top mounting configuration, flat base, no counterbalance mechanism, no integrated bubble level, and no accessory mounting interface**. Fujinon does not publish a numerical maximum load rating or the specific mounting screw and base-thread dimensions for this model, so buyers should use it with the intended compatible Fujinon binocular system rather than treating it as a universal heavy-duty tripod head. The mount carries manufacturer part number **16329991**, with **7180030** appearing as an older or alternate product number, and UPC **631267800302**.
For buyers investing in the extraordinary reach and light-gathering capability of Fujinon 150 mm binoculars, choosing the correct mounting system is every bit as important as choosing the optics themselves. High magnification can make even small amounts of movement noticeable, and the sheer size of the LB150 Series demands a support solution designed for controlled, repeatable positioning. That is where this **Fujinon heavy-duty binocular mount** distinguishes itself from generic alternatives: it is made specifically for the platform it supports, provides **full 360-degree directional adjustment**, offers an expansive **−20° to +80° vertical viewing range**, and combines independent pan and tilt control with a robust **8.3 kg construction** suited to demanding large-binocular installations. Whether you are building a dedicated astronomical observing station, outfitting a marine or coastal observation point, creating a long-range terrestrial viewing system, or simply want the proper support for premium Fujinon LB150 binoculars, this mount provides the stability and positioning flexibility required for confident observation. Its dedicated compatibility also eliminates much of the uncertainty involved in trying to match an unusually large binocular to a third-party mounting solution. With an approximately **22 lb / 10 kg packaged weight** and package dimensions of roughly **21 × 16 × 14 inches**, this is substantial professional-grade support equipment designed for equally substantial optics. If you already own or plan to buy a **Fujinon 25x150 or 40x150 binocular**, complete your observation setup with the mount engineered specifically for these exceptional instruments. Buy the Fujinon Mount for the 25x150 and 40x150 Binoculars today and give your LB150 Series optics the stable, precise, heavy-duty support they were designed to use.

Features:
Purpose-Built Mount for Fujinon 25x150 and 40x150 Binoculars
The Fujinon Mount for 25x150 and 40x150 Binoculars is designed specifically for Fujinon’s large-format LB150 optical platform rather than serving as a generic photographic tripod head. It provides the substantial support required by binoculars that weigh approximately 40.8 lb / 18.5 kg, helping create a secure and practical observation system for astronomical, marine, coastal, terrestrial, and other long-distance viewing applications.
Heavy-Duty Support for Large 150 mm Optics
Large 150 mm binoculars place significantly greater demands on a mounting system than conventional handheld or tripod-mounted binoculars. At approximately 18.3 lb / 8.3 kg, the Fujinon mount itself is a substantial piece of support equipment. Its heavy-duty construction provides a stable foundation for compatible LB150 binoculars, allowing users to take advantage of their high magnification and large objectives without having to rely on an improvised mounting solution.
Full 360° Horizontal Panning
A 360-degree directional adjustment range gives users complete freedom to scan around the observation position. This is particularly valuable when surveying wide landscapes, following marine activity, scanning the night sky, or observing moving subjects over long distances. Instead of relocating the entire binocular support system whenever the viewing direction changes, users can rotate the mounted binoculars through a complete circle.
Wide -20° to +80° Vertical Tilt Range
The mount provides an extensive -20° to +80° inclination range, resulting in 100 degrees of total vertical adjustment. Users can direct the binoculars below the normal horizontal viewing line or elevate them substantially for targets higher in the sky. This wide adjustment range makes the mount suitable for viewing scenarios that demand considerably more positioning flexibility than simple horizon-level observation.
Independent Pan and Tilt Locks for Controlled Positioning
Independent pan and tilt locks allow horizontal and vertical positioning to be managed separately. Once the desired viewing direction and elevation have been established, the appropriate axis can be secured without unnecessarily changing the other. This gives users greater control when positioning extremely large binoculars and helps maintain the selected viewing angle during extended observations.
Geared-Head Design for a Dedicated Observation Platform
The mount is classified as a geared head, providing a dedicated mechanical platform for positioning compatible Fujinon large binoculars. This specialized design separates it from lightweight ball heads and conventional photographic mounting systems. For observers investing in the LB150 platform, the mount provides support engineered around the unusual dimensions and substantial weight of these professional-scale optical instruments.
Fixed Mounting Platform for Secure Binocular Support
A fixed-platform mounting configuration provides a solid interface between the mount and compatible Fujinon binoculars. For an optical instrument weighing approximately 18.5 kg, a secure mounting platform is particularly important. The dedicated arrangement keeps the binocular supported during positioning and observation rather than depending on a lightweight quick-release arrangement intended primarily for smaller photographic equipment.
Flat Base for Heavy-Duty Support Configurations
The mount incorporates a flat-base design, allowing it to form part of a substantial support system appropriate for Fujinon LB150 binoculars. It can be paired with a suitable heavy-duty tripod when a movable observation setup is required. The mount can also be incorporated into an appropriate fixed installation, giving users flexibility when creating a dedicated observation station.
Designed to Improve Stability at High Magnification
High-powered binoculars make unwanted movement especially noticeable because even small vibrations can disturb the apparent position of a distant subject. By providing a dedicated mounting solution for the Fujinon 25x150 and 40x150 binocular systems, the mount helps establish the stable viewing platform needed to take advantage of these powerful optics. This is especially beneficial during prolonged astronomical or long-range terrestrial observation, where maintaining a steady field of view can make viewing more comfortable and productive.
Supports Binoculars Weighing Approximately 40.8 lb
Compatible Fujinon LB150 binoculars weigh approximately 40.8 lb / 18.5 kg, illustrating why a purpose-built mounting system is important. Rather than requiring the observer to physically support or continually stabilize such a substantial optical instrument, the mount carries the binocular during use and provides the mechanical positioning needed to direct it toward the intended subject.
Substantial 18.3 lb Mount Construction
The mount itself weighs approximately 18.3 lb / 8.3 kg, reflecting its role as a support system for unusually large binoculars rather than a portable camera accessory. When combined with an approximately 18.5 kg LB150 binocular, the binocular-and-mount assembly weighs roughly 59 lb / 26.8 kg before the tripod is added. This substantial configuration provides the foundation required for serious large-format observation.
Approximately 19.3-Inch / 49 cm Mount Height
With a published height of approximately 19.3 inches / 49 cm, the mount provides a substantial interface between the binocular and its supporting installation. Its dimensions complement the physical scale of the LB150 Series and help establish an appropriately sized platform for positioning these exceptionally large optical instruments.
Slight Upward Angle at the Zero Position
At its zero position, the mount holds the binocular at a slight upward angle. This provides a practical starting orientation for observations above the horizon and complements the mount’s extensive positive inclination capability. From this position, users can continue adjusting elevation through the mount’s broad vertical range according to the location of the subject.
Compatible with the Fujinon 25x150 MT-SX
The mount is suited to the Fujinon 25x150 MT-SX, combining the large binocular with a support platform designed around Fujinon’s 150 mm optical system. This gives owners of the MT-SX a dedicated alternative to attempting to adapt conventional photographic mounting hardware to an instrument of this size and weight.
Compatible with the Fujinon 25x150 ED-SX
Owners of the Fujinon 25x150 ED-SX can use the dedicated mount to establish a stable observation platform for the large ED binocular. Because the ED-SX is a premium high-magnification optical instrument, proper mechanical support helps users take full advantage of its long-range viewing capabilities while maintaining convenient directional control.
Compatible with the Fujinon 40x150 ED-SX
The mount also supports the Fujinon 40x150 ED-SX, making its stability particularly valuable at the binocular’s higher 40x magnification. Increased magnification makes movement more apparent within the field of view, so a substantial dedicated support system becomes an important component of the overall observation setup.
Suitable for Astronomical Observation
The combination of 360° horizontal movement and a vertical range reaching +80° makes the mount particularly useful for astronomical applications with compatible Fujinon binoculars. Observers can move across broad sections of the night sky and elevate the binoculars toward objects well above the horizon while keeping the substantial optical body mechanically supported.
Practical for Marine and Coastal Observation
For marine, harbor, shoreline, and coastal viewing, the mount's complete horizontal rotation allows users to scan large areas without continually moving the entire support system. Its controlled vertical positioning also makes it possible to accommodate subjects at different elevations or viewing positions, creating a practical platform for long-distance observation across open water.
Built for Long-Range Terrestrial Viewing
The mount is equally useful for terrestrial applications requiring extended observation of distant subjects. Landscape observation, wildlife viewing from established observation points, surveillance-style viewing, and other long-range applications can benefit from a stable platform that allows the large binocular to remain supported while the observer changes viewing direction.
Suitable for Mobile Heavy-Duty Tripod Setups
When mobility is required, the mount can be paired with an appropriate heavy-duty tripod, which is sold separately. This allows the Fujinon binocular system to be configured for locations where a permanently installed observation platform is impractical while retaining the benefits of a dedicated mount designed for the LB150 system.
Suitable for Permanent Observation Installations
The mount can also be used as part of an appropriate permanent installation. This makes it attractive for observatories, viewing stations, coastal observation points, lookout locations, and other environments where the binocular system is intended to remain in a dedicated position. Users can create a more permanent viewing platform instead of assembling and disassembling the complete system for every observation session.
No Counterbalance Mechanism to Complicate the Setup
The published specifications identify the mount as having no separate counterbalance system. Its configuration instead centers on dedicated support, horizontal panning, vertical inclination, and independent locking controls. This keeps its functionality focused on securely mounting and positioning the intended Fujinon large-binocular platform.
Dedicated Design Instead of Unnecessary Integrated Accessories
The mount does not incorporate a bubble level or accessory mounting system, keeping its design centered on its primary responsibility: supporting and positioning the Fujinon LB150 binocular system. Users can configure other equipment separately according to the requirements of their particular observation station rather than paying for integrated accessories they may not need.
Tripod Sold Separately for Greater Configuration Flexibility
The tripod is not included, allowing buyers to select or configure the supporting installation according to how and where the binocular will be used. A dedicated heavy-duty tripod can be selected for a movable setup, while an appropriate permanent support can be considered for fixed observation installations. This modular approach gives professional and enthusiast users more flexibility when designing the complete system.
Dedicated Fit Reduces the Uncertainty of Generic Mounting Solutions
One of the mount's strongest selling points is compatibility. Large Fujinon 150 mm binoculars fall well outside the size and weight range of typical consumer binoculars, so choosing generic support equipment can involve questions about fit and suitability. A mount specifically intended for the Fujinon 25x150 and 40x150 platform provides buyers with a more purpose-focused solution for their premium optics.
Professional Support for a Premium Optical Investment
Fujinon LB150 binoculars represent a substantial investment in specialized long-distance optics, and their mounting system plays a critical role in how effectively they can be used. The dedicated Fujinon mount complements that investment with heavy-duty construction, 360° panning, -20° to +80° inclination, independent pan and tilt locks, and purpose-built LB150 compatibility. For buyers assembling a serious large-binocular observation system, it provides the stability, positioning flexibility, and dedicated support necessary to make these exceptional optics practical to operate.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
