The **Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset** makes every conversation feel clearer, calmer, and more professional. Built for busy offices, remote workstations, customer service teams, call centers, and professionals who spend hours communicating through Microsoft and UC platforms, this premium wired business headset combines dependable audio performance with practical workplace features designed to help you stay focused and productive throughout the day. Available in **Dual/Stereo and Mono configurations**, the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS lets you choose the listening experience that best suits your workflow: select the Dual/Stereo model when you want immersive two-ear audio and greater passive isolation from surrounding distractions, or choose the Mono version when you need professional call clarity while keeping one ear open to coworkers and your environment. At the heart of the headset are powerful **28 mm speakers** engineered to deliver **HiFi music audio from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz** and clear **wideband speech from 150 Hz to 7,000 Hz**, giving you rich sound for music, meetings, presentations, training videos, and everyday communications. Speaker performance includes **93.6 dB SPL sensitivity at 1 kHz, 32 Ω ± 4.8 Ω impedance at 1 kHz, 5 mW rated input power, and up to 10 mW maximum input power**, providing dependable sound without the complexity of batteries or wireless charging. The on-ear design also provides **passive noise cancellation**, helping physically reduce distracting office sounds so you can concentrate on the conversation in front of you. Whether you're handling sales calls, attending virtual meetings, supporting customers, collaborating with teammates, or simply listening to music while you work, the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS delivers the versatility required for a modern professional workstation.
Clear communication is just as important as clear listening, which is why the **Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset** is equipped with a professional **unidirectional electret condenser noise-cancelling microphone** designed to focus on your voice while minimizing unwanted surrounding noise. With a **100 Hz to 10,000 Hz microphone frequency range**, wideband microphone performance, and approximately **-42 dB to -38 dB sensitivity at 1 kHz**, your speech can remain natural and intelligible during important calls, helping customers, colleagues, and clients hear you without unnecessary distractions. The adjustable boom microphone can be positioned on either the left or right side, while its flexible design allows up to approximately **270 degrees of rotation**. When you're finished with calls, the clever **magnetic microphone boom** can be secured neatly against the headset, instantly creating a cleaner profile for music listening or general computer use. Another standout productivity feature is Jabra's **integrated red Busylight**, which can automatically illuminate while you're on a call or be manually activated to signal to nearby coworkers that you don't want to be interrupted. For added convenience, the included inline control unit puts essential functions within easy reach, allowing you to manage calls, adjust listening volume, mute the microphone, and control compatible communication applications without repeatedly reaching for your computer. **Jabra SafeTone hearing protection**, including technologies associated with PeakStop and IntelliTone support, adds another layer of protection for professionals who regularly wear a headset for extended periods. Comfort is equally important for all-day use, and the EVOLVE 40 combines an adjustable headband with **ultra-soft foam padding, a silicone-covered headband, soft audio-foam ear cushions, and black leatherette ear-cushion covers** for a secure yet comfortable fit. The Mono model weighs approximately **143 g**, while the Stereo/Dual model weighs approximately **171 g**, keeping both options practical for long working sessions.
When you **buy the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset**, you also gain the reliability and flexibility of a true wired professional communications solution. Unlike wireless headsets that require pairing, battery monitoring, and routine charging, the EVOLVE 40 is ready for work whenever you are. Depending on the selected model, it is available with **USB-A or USB-C connectivity**, while the headset's **3.5 mm connection** provides additional compatibility with supported smartphones, tablets, computers, and other devices equipped with an appropriate audio port. The generous cable setup includes an approximately **120 cm headset cable and 95 cm controller cable**, giving you practical freedom to position the headset and call controller comfortably around your workstation. Support for **Jabra Direct and Jabra Xpress** also makes the headset easier to deploy and manage within professional environments, while MS variants are designed for strong integration with Microsoft's business communications ecosystem and compatible unified communications platforms. With **USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 support**, plug-and-play convenience, LED status indicators, no Bluetooth pairing requirements, no battery to recharge, and an operating temperature range of approximately **-10°C to +50°C**, the Jabra EVOLVE 40 is built around dependable everyday business use. A **2-year warranty** further adds confidence for businesses and individual professionals looking for equipment that can handle regular communication demands. From its precise microphone and wideband voice performance to its HiFi music playback, Busylight, passive noise reduction, hearing protection, intuitive call controls, flexible USB and 3.5 mm connectivity, comfortable materials, and choice of Mono or Dual/Stereo wearing styles, the **Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset** offers an outstanding balance of productivity, professional sound, comfort, and simplicity. Features:
Professional Noise-Cancelling Microphone for Clearer Business Calls
The Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset uses a professional unidirectional electret condenser noise-cancelling microphone engineered to prioritize the speaker’s voice while reducing unwanted background sound. With a 100 Hz–10,000 Hz microphone frequency range and wideband microphone performance, it is well suited to virtual meetings, customer support, sales conversations, remote collaboration, and other voice-intensive work. This focused microphone design is particularly valuable in shared offices and other environments where surrounding conversations can interfere with communication.
Wideband Voice Audio for Natural, Intelligible Conversations
Clear speech is essential when important details are being discussed. The EVOLVE 40 MS delivers wideband speech audio from 150 Hz to 7,000 Hz, helping voices sound clear and natural during compatible calls and conferences. Combined with its noise-cancelling microphone, this gives professionals a communication-focused audio system designed for understanding conversations without repeatedly asking callers to repeat themselves.
28 mm Speakers with HiFi Audio for Calls, Music, and Multimedia
The headset is equipped with 28 mm speakers that extend beyond everyday voice communication. They provide 20 Hz–20,000 Hz HiFi music frequency response, allowing the EVOLVE 40 MS to serve as both a professional communications headset and an everyday listening solution for music, presentations, webinars, training videos, and other multimedia. Speaker specifications include 93.6 dB SPL sensitivity at 1 kHz, 32 Ω ±4.8 Ω impedance, 5 mW rated input, and 10 mW maximum input.
Passive Noise Cancellation Helps Reduce Workplace Distractions
The EVOLVE 40 MS uses its on-ear construction and cushioned earcups to provide passive noise isolation without requiring powered Active Noise Cancellation. This physical barrier helps reduce surrounding high-frequency office noise and makes it easier to concentrate on calls or individual work. The Dual/Stereo configuration provides coverage for both ears when greater isolation is preferred, while the Mono version maintains greater awareness of the surrounding workspace.
Integrated Busylight Helps Prevent Unwanted Interruptions
An integrated red Busylight provides coworkers with an immediate visual indication that the wearer is occupied. It can illuminate automatically during calls and can also be manually activated when uninterrupted concentration is needed. In shared offices, this simple feature can reduce unnecessary interruptions without requiring the user to repeatedly tell coworkers that they are busy.
Dual/Stereo and Mono Options for Different Working Styles
Rather than forcing every professional into the same wearing configuration, the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS is available in Dual/Stereo and Mono versions. The Dual/Stereo configuration covers both ears, providing stereo music playback and greater passive isolation for users who want to concentrate on calls or multimedia. The Mono configuration leaves one ear uncovered, making it easier to communicate with nearby colleagues and remain aware of activity around the workstation while still using professional headset audio.
USB-A or USB-C Options for Modern Workstations
Different EVOLVE 40 MS SKUs are available with either USB-A or USB-C connectivity, allowing businesses and individual users to select the interface appropriate for their computer hardware. The wired connection provides consistent communication without wireless pairing procedures, Bluetooth interference, or battery-management requirements. USB support also enables integration with compatible computer-based communication applications and the headset's inline controller.
3.5 mm Connectivity Adds Device Flexibility
In addition to its computer-oriented USB connection through the controller, the headset incorporates a 3.5 mm connection for use with compatible devices. This expands the headset's usefulness beyond a single workstation and can allow connection to supported smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other equipment with the appropriate 3.5 mm audio interface. Device functionality can vary according to the hardware and application being used.
No Batteries, Charging, or Bluetooth Pairing Required
Because the EVOLVE 40 MS is a corded headset, there is no internal wireless battery that needs to be monitored and recharged between shifts. Users can connect the headset and begin working without checking remaining battery life or troubleshooting Bluetooth pairing. This makes it especially practical for fixed workstations, reception areas, contact centers, customer service departments, and professionals who prioritize consistent availability over wireless mobility.
Convenient Inline Controls Keep Essential Functions Within Reach
The supplied inline control unit provides convenient access to important communication functions directly from the workstation. Depending on the connected application, users can answer and end calls, adjust listening volume, mute the microphone, and manage compatible call functions without navigating through software controls every time. Large buttons and visual LED indicators further support quick operation during busy working sessions.
Microsoft-Optimized MS Configuration for Business Communications
The MS version of the Jabra EVOLVE 40 was developed around Microsoft's professional communications ecosystem. Depending on the specific generation and SKU, Jabra documentation references certification and integration with Skype for Business, Microsoft Lync, and later Microsoft Teams-oriented variants. This makes the headset particularly relevant for organizations using Microsoft-based communications while maintaining interoperability with supported UC environments.
Broad Unified Communications Compatibility
Beyond its Microsoft-focused configuration, the EVOLVE 40 family was designed for professional Unified Communications (UC) environments. Jabra documentation references compatibility or certification across platforms and ecosystems including Avaya, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Aastra, and other major UC solutions, depending on product revision and configuration. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate the headset into established communications infrastructure.
Magnetic Microphone Boom Creates a Cleaner Listening Setup
The microphone does not have to remain extended when it is not needed. Jabra's magnetic boom-arm design allows the microphone to be secured neatly against the headset when the user switches from calls to music or other listening activities. This provides a cleaner profile and makes the EVOLVE 40 MS feel less like a dedicated call-center headset during general computer use.
Flexible Boom Positioning for Left- or Right-Side Wear
The microphone boom can be positioned for left- or right-side use, allowing wearers to configure the headset according to personal preference or workstation layout. The boom supports up to approximately 270 degrees of rotation, giving users flexibility in microphone positioning while helping prevent excessive rotation beyond the intended mechanical range.
Jabra SafeTone Helps Protect Hearing During Extended Use
For professionals who spend significant portions of the day wearing a headset, hearing protection is an important consideration. The EVOLVE 40 MS incorporates Jabra SafeTone hearing-protection technology, with Jabra documentation also referencing PeakStop and IntelliTone G616 technologies. PeakStop is designed to help suppress potentially harmful sudden sound peaks before they reach the user's ears, adding protection for prolonged professional headset use.
Soft Audio-Foam Ear Cushions for Extended Wearing Comfort
The headset uses soft audio-foam ear cushions covered in black leatherette, creating a comfortable contact surface around the ears while also contributing to passive sound isolation. This construction is intended for professional environments where users may need to wear a headset through multiple calls, meetings, or extended work sessions rather than for only a few minutes at a time.
Padded Adjustable Headband for a More Comfortable Fit
Comfort extends beyond the ear cushions. The EVOLVE 40 MS incorporates an adjustable headband with ultra-soft foam padding and a silicone covering, allowing users to modify the fit while distributing pressure more comfortably across the head. This is especially useful for professionals whose headset remains part of their workstation for much of the working day.
Lightweight Mono and Stereo Designs for Everyday Professional Use
Despite its professional feature set, the EVOLVE 40 MS remains relatively lightweight. Jabra's newer specifications list the Mono model at approximately 143 g and the Stereo/Dual model at approximately 171 g. The Mono configuration minimizes weight while keeping one ear available for environmental awareness, while the Stereo version adds a second earcup for two-ear listening and improved passive isolation.
Stereo Listening for Greater Focus and Multimedia Enjoyment
The Dual/Stereo model provides sound through both ears, making it particularly useful for professionals who frequently alternate between calls and multimedia. Stereo reproduction provides a more immersive experience for music, training materials, presentations, and video content while simultaneously increasing physical isolation from surrounding workplace distractions.
Mono Listening Keeps You Connected to Your Surroundings
The Mono version is designed for users who cannot completely disconnect from their immediate environment. By keeping one ear uncovered, employees can continue hearing coworkers, announcements, customers, or other important sounds while participating in calls. This configuration can be especially practical for reception desks, collaborative offices, service counters, and workplaces where face-to-face interaction continues alongside digital communication.
Jabra Direct Support for Headset Management
Compatibility with Jabra Direct gives businesses and individual users access to Jabra's desktop device-management ecosystem. Supported functions can include device configuration, firmware management, and integration features, depending on the connected hardware and software environment. This provides an additional level of management beyond the headset's physical controls.
Jabra Xpress Support for Business Deployment
The EVOLVE 40 MS also supports Jabra Xpress, making the headset more suitable for organizations deploying Jabra devices across multiple users or workstations. Centralized device-management capabilities can simplify enterprise headset administration and help IT teams maintain standardized device configurations across supported deployments.
Generous Cable Length for Practical Desk Setup
A wired headset still needs enough reach to remain comfortable at a workstation. The EVOLVE 40 configuration includes an approximately 120 cm headset cable together with an approximately 95 cm controller cable, providing practical flexibility for arranging the headset, computer, and inline controller around a desk. Users can keep the controller within reach while maintaining enough cable length for normal seated movement.
Plug-and-Play Design Simplifies Everyday Setup
The EVOLVE 40 MS is designed around straightforward USB plug-and-play operation with compatible computers and UC software. There is no wireless pairing procedure or battery setup to complete before basic use. For organizations deploying numerous workstations, this straightforward wired approach can also reduce the complexity associated with managing wireless peripherals.
LED Indicators Provide At-a-Glance Status Information
Visual LED indicators on the headset/controller complement the physical controls and Busylight functionality. Instead of relying entirely on information displayed on the computer screen, users can obtain visual status feedback directly from their communications hardware, supporting faster interaction during calls and busy working sessions.
Professional Audio Without Wireless Downtime
One of the EVOLVE 40 MS's practical advantages is consistency. Because it receives power through its wired connection and does not depend on a rechargeable wireless battery, users don't have to interrupt their workflow because the headset needs charging. For high-volume call environments where a headset may be needed throughout an entire shift, that simplicity can be a significant operational benefit.
Wide Operating Temperature Range for Professional Environments
Jabra specifies an operating temperature range of approximately -10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F). This broad range supports use across typical professional environments and adds to the headset's suitability for businesses seeking standardized communications equipment for varied workplace conditions.
Two-Year Warranty Adds Long-Term Purchase Confidence
The 2-year warranty provides additional assurance for buyers investing in a professional headset for regular workplace use. Combined with the wired design, established Jabra business-audio ecosystem, replaceable-use accessories where applicable, and professional communications focus, the warranty strengthens the EVOLVE 40 MS as a practical choice for individual professionals and larger business deployments.
One Headset for Calls, Meetings, Training, and Music
The combination of wideband speech, HiFi music audio, a noise-cancelling microphone, USB connectivity, 3.5 mm flexibility, call controls, and professional comfort means users don't necessarily need separate headsets for communication and everyday computer audio. The EVOLVE 40 MS can move from a morning conference call to customer conversations, online training, multimedia playback, and music without requiring a change of audio device.
Professional Wired Reliability for High-Volume Communication
The strongest overall selling point of the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset is the combination of business-focused audio and dependable wired operation. It avoids battery limitations while providing the features professionals actually use throughout the workday: clear wideband calls, a noise-cancelling microphone, HiFi audio, passive noise isolation, an integrated Busylight, hearing protection, inline controls, comfortable materials, flexible connectivity, and a choice between Mono and Dual/Stereo configurations. What is the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS Dual/Mono Headset designed for?
The Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS is designed for professional business communication, including office calls, Microsoft and UC meetings, customer support, sales conversations, remote work, online training, and everyday multimedia use. It combines wideband voice audio, a noise-cancelling microphone, inline controls, and passive noise isolation for reliable workplace communication.
What is the difference between the Dual/Stereo and Mono versions?
The Dual/Stereo version covers both ears and provides stereo audio with greater passive isolation from surrounding noise, making it ideal for focused calls and multimedia. The Mono version covers one ear, allowing users to remain aware of coworkers and nearby activity while still maintaining clear professional audio.
Does the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS have active noise cancellation?
No. The Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS does not use Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Instead, it provides passive noise cancellation through its on-ear design and cushioned earcups, while the unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone helps reduce unwanted background sound during calls.
What type of microphone does the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS use?
The headset uses a unidirectional electret condenser noise-cancelling microphone with a frequency range of 100 Hz to 10,000 Hz. The boom microphone can be positioned on either side of the headset and can be magnetically stored against the headset when not in use.
What connectivity options are available?
The Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS is available in USB-A and USB-C versions, depending on the SKU. It also includes a 3.5 mm connection for compatible smartphones, tablets, computers, and other supported devices.
Does the Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS require charging?
No. The Jabra EVOLVE 40 MS is a wired headset and does not use a rechargeable battery. It receives power through its USB connection, eliminating the need for charging, battery monitoring, or Bluetooth pairing.
What audio performance does the headset provide?
The headset uses 28 mm speakers with a 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz music frequency range and a 150 Hz to 7,000 Hz speech frequency range. It supports HiFi music playback and wideband voice audio for calls, meetings, training content, videos, and music.
What is the integrated Busylight used for?

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
