Meike Cinema Full Frame 135mm T2.4 RF Cine Prime Lens with 45mm Image Circle and 330° Focus Throw
The moment you need absolute precision and cinematic reach, the Meike Cinema Full Frame Cinema Prime 135mm T2.4 Lens (RF Mount) steps in as a serious creative weapon built for filmmakers who refuse compromise. The Meike 135mm T2.4 is a true full-frame cinema prime designed specifically for Canon RF-mount cameras, delivering a powerful telephoto perspective with a generous 45mm image circle that fully covers full-frame sensors and comfortably supports large-format capture without vignetting. At its core is a carefully engineered 12-element, 8-group optical design that produces sharp, high-contrast images while maintaining a clean, modern cinematic look prized in narrative film, commercial production, interviews, and high-end corporate work.
The fast T2.4 aperture allows filmmakers to isolate subjects beautifully with shallow depth of field, while the 17-blade iris creates smooth, rounded bokeh that elevates portraits, close-ups, and dramatic telephoto compositions. Built as a true cinema lens, this Meike prime features industry-standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, ensuring seamless compatibility with follow-focus systems, motors, and professional cine rigs. A long, precise 330-degree focus rotation gives focus pullers the control they need for repeatable, accurate focus marks, while clearly engraved dual-scale focus markings in feet and meters support fast on-set workflows. With a minimum focus distance of 1.0 meter, the lens allows for tight framing and expressive compression, making it ideal for interviews, product shots, fashion, and cinematic storytelling.
The 85mm front diameter and 82mm filter thread make it easy to integrate with matte boxes, filters, and existing lens accessories, reducing rig changes and downtime. Designed with robust anodized aluminum construction, the lens feels solid and professional in hand, built to withstand the demands of production environments while remaining balanced on modern RF-mount cinema cameras. The fully manual, electronics-free design ensures consistent performance, no focus breathing distractions, and total creative control—exactly what professional cinematographers expect from a dedicated cinema prime. Compared to still-photo telephoto lenses adapted for video, the Meike 135mm T2.4 offers smoother focus pulls, consistent gearing, accurate T-stops, and a unified cine experience that saves time and elevates production value.
If you’re looking to buy a high-performance RF-mount cinema lens that delivers stunning image quality, professional mechanics, and exceptional value for money, the Meike Cinema Full Frame 135mm T2.4 stands out as a smart, future-proof investment for filmmakers who want cinematic results without cinematic-brand pricing. Features:
True Full-Frame Cinema Coverage with a 45mm Image Circle
The Meike Cinema Full Frame 135mm T2.4 Lens is engineered with a generous 45mm image circle, ensuring complete coverage for full-frame sensors and compatibility with many large-format cinema cameras. This wider coverage eliminates vignetting and edge softness, delivering consistent sharpness and illumination across the entire frame. For filmmakers shooting on Canon RF-mount cinema bodies or hybrid cameras, this means confidence in future-proof imaging, flexible sensor modes, and clean results even when reframing or stabilizing in post.
Cinematic Telephoto Perspective for Emotional Storytelling
With its 135mm focal length, this cinema prime delivers powerful telephoto compression that naturally separates subjects from the background. This focal length is ideal for interviews, portraits, fashion, narrative close-ups, and commercial work where emotional impact matters. Faces appear more flattering, backgrounds feel cinematic, and compositions gain depth—allowing filmmakers to tell visually compelling stories with precision and intention.
Fast T2.4 Aperture for Low-Light Control and Subject Isolation
The T2.4 maximum aperture provides excellent light transmission, making it easier to shoot in challenging lighting conditions without sacrificing image quality. Unlike photographic lenses, true T-stops ensure consistent exposure across shots and lenses, giving cinematographers reliable lighting continuity. The wide aperture also enables shallow depth of field, allowing creators to isolate subjects and guide the viewer’s attention exactly where it matters.
17-Blade Iris for Smooth, Natural Bokeh
Equipped with a 17-blade iris, the Meike 135mm T2.4 produces beautifully rounded out-of-focus highlights and smooth background transitions. This results in organic, cinematic bokeh that enhances emotional scenes, close-ups, and portrait-style shots. The high blade count minimizes harsh edges and polygonal shapes, ensuring aesthetically pleasing visuals even when stopping down.
Precision Focus Control with 330-Degree Focus Rotation
Designed for professional cinema workflows, the lens features an extended 330° focus throw, giving focus pullers exceptional accuracy and control. This long rotation allows for precise focus marks, smoother pulls, and repeatable focus transitions—essential for narrative filmmaking and controlled studio environments. Whether working solo or with a focus puller, this level of control dramatically improves shot consistency.
Industry-Standard 0.8 MOD Gearing for Cine Rigs
The Meike 135mm T2.4 incorporates 0.8 MOD gears on both the focus and iris rings, making it fully compatible with follow-focus systems, wireless motors, and professional cine rigs. This standardized gearing ensures smooth integration into existing setups, reducing setup time and maintaining consistency across multi-lens productions.
Minimal Focus Breathing for Stable Framing
Engineered with cinema use in mind, the lens is designed to minimize focus breathing, helping maintain consistent framing when shifting focus. This is especially important during dramatic rack-focus shots, interviews, and narrative scenes where visible changes in composition can distract viewers. The result is cleaner, more professional-looking footage straight out of the camera.
Robust All-Metal Construction for Production Environments
Built with a durable anodized aluminum housing, the lens is designed to withstand the demands of real-world film production. Its solid construction provides confidence during handheld work, rigged setups, and repeated lens changes on set. This reliability makes it a dependable tool for filmmakers working on tight schedules and in demanding conditions.
Consistent Front Diameter and Filter Compatibility
Featuring an 85mm front diameter and 82mm filter thread, the lens integrates seamlessly with standard matte boxes, filters, and accessories. This consistency reduces the need for adapter rings or rebalancing when swapping lenses, helping crews move faster and maintain efficient workflows during shoots.
Manual, Electronics-Free Design for Pure Creative Control
The fully manual, passive design eliminates electronic interference and ensures consistent mechanical performance. This approach gives filmmakers complete creative control over focus and exposure, while also enhancing reliability across different camera bodies and firmware updates—an essential advantage for long-term professional use.
High-End Cine Performance at an Accessible Price Point
One of the strongest unique selling points of the Meike Cinema Full Frame 135mm T2.4 is its ability to deliver professional cinema-grade optics and mechanics without the premium price tag of legacy cine brands. This makes it an exceptional value for independent filmmakers, production companies, and content creators looking to elevate production quality while staying budget-conscious.

Is the Meike 135mm T2.4 RF lens compatible with full-frame Canon RF cameras?
Yes. This lens is built for the Canon RF mount and is designed for full-frame coverage with a 45mm image circle, making it suitable for full-frame Canon RF bodies and many large-format capture modes.
Does this lens have autofocus or electronic communication with the camera?
No. The Meike Cinema Full Frame 135mm T2.4 (RF Mount) is a fully manual cinema lens with no electronic contacts, so focus and iris are controlled manually and no lens metadata is transmitted.
What is the difference between T2.4 and an f/2.4 photo lens?
T2.4 is a true transmission rating (T-stop) that reflects how much light actually reaches the sensor. This helps deliver more consistent exposure for video production compared with still-photo f-stops, which are based on optical geometry rather than measured light transmission.
How good is this lens for interviews and portraits?
It’s an excellent choice for interviews and portraits because the 135mm focal length produces flattering compression and strong background separation, while the T2.4 aperture and 17-blade iris deliver smooth bokeh and a cinematic look.
Does the lens support follow-focus systems and cine rigs?
Yes. It features industry-standard 0.8 MOD focus and iris gears, making it compatible with manual follow-focus units and wireless focus motors commonly used in cinema production setups.
What is the minimum focus distance and how close can I shoot?
The minimum focus distance is 1.0 m (100 cm / 3.28 ft). This allows tight framing for close-ups, detail shots, and interview-style compositions while maintaining the telephoto cinematic compression.
Does it have a long focus throw for precise focus pulls?
Yes. The lens has a 330° focus rotation, giving you fine control for accurate, repeatable focus pulls—especially useful for narrative work, commercials, and controlled studio shooting.
What filters fit this lens?
The lens has an 82mm filter thread, so it works with standard 82mm screw-on filters. It also has an 85mm front diameter for compatibility with many matte boxes and cine accessories.
Is image stabilization built into the lens?
No. The lens does not include optical image stabilization. If stabilization is needed, you can use a stabilized camera body (if available), a gimbal, shoulder rig, tripod, or post-stabilization workflow.
Is focus breathing a concern on this lens?
The lens is designed with cinema use in mind and is marketed as having minimized focus breathing, helping keep framing more stable during focus pulls compared with many photo lenses.
What’s included in the box?
Typically, the lens ships with a front lens cap and rear lens cap. Package contents can vary slightly by retailer, so it’s recommended to confirm inclusions on the product page before purchase.
Is this lens a good value compared to premium cine brands?
Yes. It’s often chosen for delivering true cine mechanics (0.8 MOD gears, long focus throw, T-stops, manual control) and full-frame coverage at a more accessible price point than many established cinema lens lines.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
