Features:
Ultra-Fast T1.5 Aperture for Maximum Light Control and Cinematic Depth
The Sigma 20mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime stands out immediately with its constant T1.5 aperture, giving filmmakers exceptional low-light performance without sacrificing image quality. This ultra-fast transmission allows you to shoot in challenging lighting environments—night scenes, interiors, practical-lit sets—while keeping ISO noise low and dynamic range intact. At a wide 20mm focal length, achieving shallow depth of field is notoriously difficult, yet this lens makes it possible, enabling dramatic subject separation while preserving environmental context. The result is a cinematic look that feels immersive, intentional, and emotionally engaging, giving productions a premium visual signature that audiences subconsciously associate with high-end cinema.
Full-Frame Coverage with Oversized Illumination for Future-Proof Productions
Designed specifically for modern cinema cameras, this lens delivers true full-frame coverage with a φ43.3mm image circle and an illumination circle exceeding 46.3mm. This oversized coverage ensures consistent brightness across the frame, eliminates vignetting on large sensors, and provides compatibility with current and next-generation camera systems. Whether you’re shooting on full-frame, large-format, or planning for future sensor upgrades, this lens protects your investment by staying relevant as camera technology evolves—an essential advantage for owner-operators and rental houses alike.
6K–8K Class Optical Performance Built for High-Resolution Cinema
At the heart of the Sigma 20mm T1.5 is a sophisticated optical formula featuring 15 elements in 11 groups, including FLD, SLD, and precision aspherical elements. This design delivers edge-to-edge sharpness, controlled distortion, and minimized chromatic aberration, even at wide apertures. The lens is engineered to resolve 6K–8K class imagery, ensuring fine textures, clean lines, and consistent performance across the entire frame. This level of resolution is critical for productions that demand flexibility in post-production, including cropping, stabilization, and heavy color grading without image degradation.
Cinematic Bokeh and Natural Rendering with a Rounded 9-Blade Diaphragm
The lens features a rounded 9-blade diaphragm, producing smooth, organic bokeh that enhances subject isolation without harsh transitions or mechanical artifacts. Out-of-focus highlights remain soft and circular, contributing to a more natural, cinematic image aesthetic. This characteristic is especially valuable for narrative films, commercials, and branded content where visual polish and emotional tone matter as much as technical accuracy.
Advanced Flare and Ghosting Control for High-Contrast Scenes
Sigma’s advanced optical design process incorporates extensive ray tracing and real-world testing to minimize flare and ghosting. This ensures high contrast, deep blacks, and controlled highlights, even when shooting directly into strong light sources. For filmmakers working with practical lights, backlit scenes, or stylized lighting setups, this means greater creative freedom and fewer compromises on image integrity.
Precision Manual Focus with Long Throw for Professional Focus Pulling
Built for serious cinema work, the Sigma 20mm T1.5 offers a 180-degree focus rotation, providing the fine control required for precise, repeatable focus pulls. The optimized focus cam allows smoother transitions and more intuitive control across the focus range, especially at longer distances. This precision is critical for narrative filmmaking, live-action blocking, and complex camera movement where accuracy can make or break a shot.
Clickless Iris with Linear Response for Seamless Exposure Changes
The fully manual, clickless iris ring features a 60-degree rotation with linear response, ensuring that each degree of rotation corresponds consistently to exposure changes. This allows cinematographers to perform smooth, invisible aperture pulls during takes without jumps or inconsistencies. Exposure transitions feel natural and controlled, preserving immersion and professionalism in every shot.
Industry-Standard Cine Mechanics for Seamless Rig Integration
With 0.8 MOD gear pitch on both focus and iris rings, this lens integrates effortlessly with follow focus systems, wireless motors, and professional cinema rigs. Gear positions are standardized across Sigma’s FF High-Speed Prime lineup, minimizing re-rigging time when swapping lenses. This consistency saves valuable production time and reduces operational friction on set.
Professional Mount Options with Metadata Support
Available in PL mount with Cooke /i Technology compatibility, as well as Canon EF and Sony E mounts, the Sigma 20mm T1.5 adapts to a wide range of professional cinema and mirrorless systems. The PL version outputs lens metadata—such as focus distance and aperture—to compatible cameras, streamlining VFX workflows and post-production processes. Sigma’s mount conversion service between EF and E further enhances long-term flexibility.
Robust Cinema Build Designed for Real-World Production Environments
The lens features a full metal housing with dust- and splash-resistant construction, making it reliable in demanding shooting conditions. Laser-engraved markings are durable, tape-safe, and designed for long-term professional use. A 95mm front diameter ensures compatibility with standard matte boxes, while the included lens support foot reduces stress on camera mounts, improving balance and system stability during extended shoots.
High-End Cinema Performance Without High-End Cinema Pricing
One of the most compelling selling points of the Sigma 20mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime is its ability to deliver premium cinema optics, mechanics, and reliability at a significantly more accessible price point than traditional cinema lenses. This makes it an exceptional value for independent filmmakers, production companies, and rental houses looking to maximize return on investment without compromising on image quality or professional standards.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
