Features:
Full-Frame Coverage with a True 43.3mm Image Circle
The Sigma 28mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime is engineered to fully cover full-frame sensors with a generous 43.3mm image circle, eliminating vignetting and edge falloff even on large-format cinema cameras. This gives filmmakers the freedom to shoot full-frame or crop into Super 35 without compromising image quality, making the lens highly versatile for multi-camera productions and future sensor upgrades.
Ultra-Fast T1.5 Aperture for Low-Light and Cinematic Depth
With a blazing-fast T1.5 aperture, this lens excels in low-light environments where maintaining image integrity is critical. It allows you to shoot with less artificial lighting, preserve natural ambience, and create a shallow depth of field that delivers strong subject separation. The result is a cinematic look that feels intentional, controlled, and emotionally engaging.
6K–8K Ready Optical Performance
Designed to meet the demands of modern and future cinema cameras, the Sigma 28mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime resolves exceptional detail suitable for 6K and 8K workflows. Its advanced optical formula maintains sharpness across the frame while controlling distortion and chromatic aberration, ensuring footage remains clean, detailed, and production-ready for high-resolution delivery and heavy post-processing.
Advanced Optical Design with FLD, SLD, and Aspherical Elements
The lens features a sophisticated construction of 17 elements in 12 groups, incorporating FLD and SLD glass along with precision-molded aspherical elements. This design minimizes color fringing, reduces distortion, and maintains high contrast from center to edge. The benefit is consistent image quality that holds up under demanding lighting conditions and complex scenes.
Consistent Color Rendering Across the Sigma FF Cine Line
Color consistency is critical in professional production, and this lens is engineered to match the color science of Sigma’s FF High-Speed Prime lineup. This ensures seamless intercutting between focal lengths without time-consuming color correction, helping productions move faster while maintaining a cohesive visual style.
Rounded 9-Blade Iris for Smooth, Natural Bokeh
The 9-blade rounded diaphragm produces soft, pleasing bokeh and natural highlight roll-off, even when shooting wide open. This enhances the cinematic character of out-of-focus areas, adding depth and emotional nuance to your shots rather than harsh or distracting background blur.
Precision Manual Focus with 180-Degree Rotation
A long 180-degree focus throw provides filmmakers with precise control over focus pulls, essential for narrative filmmaking and controlled camera movements. This extended rotation allows for smooth, repeatable focus transitions, giving focus pullers the accuracy they need in high-pressure shooting environments.
Clickless Manual Iris with Linear Control
The clickless aperture ring offers smooth, silent exposure adjustments during takes, making it ideal for live-action scenes and dynamic lighting conditions. Linear iris movement ensures predictable exposure changes, giving operators full creative control without introducing unwanted jumps or noise.
Industry-Standard 0.8 MOD Cine Gears
Built to professional cine standards, the focus and iris rings feature 0.8 MOD gearing compatible with follow focus systems, motors, and wireless controls. Gear placement is standardized across Sigma’s FF cine primes, allowing fast lens changes without reconfiguring your rig—saving valuable time on set.
Robust All-Metal, Dust- and Splash-Resistant Construction
This lens is designed for real production environments, not studio-only use. Its all-metal housing, engraved markings, and dust- and splash-resistant sealing ensure long-term reliability in challenging conditions, whether you’re shooting on location, outdoors, or in fast-paced production schedules.
Luminous Markings for Low-Light Operation
High-visibility focus and aperture markings—available in standard or fully luminous configurations—make the lens easy to operate in dark environments. This improves efficiency during night shoots or controlled lighting setups where visibility is limited.
Close Minimum Focus Distance for Creative Flexibility
With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.3 meters (1 foot), the Sigma 28mm T1.5 allows for dramatic close-ups while maintaining a wide perspective. This opens creative possibilities for storytelling without needing to swap lenses or compromise composition.
Professional Cine Form Factor with 95mm Front Diameter
A 95mm front diameter ensures compatibility with industry-standard matte boxes and accessories, while the 82mm filter thread provides flexibility for screw-on filters. The balanced physical design integrates smoothly into professional camera rigs without unnecessary bulk.
Multiple Mount Options with Cooke /i Metadata Support
Available in Canon EF, Sony E, and PL mounts, the lens adapts easily to a wide range of cinema cameras. PL versions support Cooke /i Technology, enabling lens metadata capture for streamlined post-production, VFX, and virtual production workflows.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
