The Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF is a professional full-frame cinema prime engineered for filmmakers, cinematographers, and production houses who want to buy a true high-speed cine lens that excels in narrative filmmaking, commercial video production, documentaries, and high-end digital cinema workflows. Built to cover full-frame sensors with a 43.3mm image circle and capable of resolving modern 6K and 8K cameras, this lens provides stunning sharpness across the frame while maintaining a natural, organic falloff that flatters subjects and enhances depth.
The ultra-fast T1.5 aperture is a major advantage for low-light shooting, night scenes, and shallow depth-of-field aesthetics, allowing you to separate subjects beautifully while maintaining consistent exposure thanks to true T-stop measurement. With 13 elements in 11 groups, including advanced low-dispersion and aspherical glass, the lens minimizes chromatic aberration, distortion, flare, and ghosting, giving you cleaner images that require less correction in post-production. The 35mm focal length delivers a highly versatile field of view—ideal for dialogue, handheld work, gimbal setups, and environmental storytelling—making this lens a cornerstone for any cinema kit. Designed specifically for professional cinema use, it features a 180-degree focus rotation for precise focus pulls, a 60-degree smooth, clickless iris rotation, and industry-standard 0.8 MOD gears on both focus and iris rings, ensuring seamless compatibility with follow-focus systems and wireless motors.
The 9-blade rounded diaphragm produces soft, cinematic bokeh and smooth highlight transitions, elevating the emotional impact of every shot. Mechanically, the Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF is built like a tank, with a full metal housing, dust- and splash-resistant construction, laser-engraved markings, luminous focus scales, and a standardized 95mm front diameter that makes swapping lenses on set fast and efficient. With a close focusing distance of just 0.3 meters, you gain creative flexibility for intimate close-ups without sacrificing image integrity. Available in PL mount with Cooke /i Technology, Canon EF, and Sony E-mount, this lens integrates effortlessly into professional workflows, providing lens metadata for VFX, color grading, and post-production accuracy. Compared to competing cinema primes, the Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime offers exceptional value by delivering premium optical performance, professional cine mechanics, and consistent color matching across Sigma’s FF High-Speed Prime lineup—without the extreme price tag of legacy cinema glass.
If you’re looking to buy a professional cinema lens that balances speed, reliability, image quality, and long-term investment value, this lens stands out as a smart, future-proof choice for serious filmmakers. Buy the Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime Lens today and elevate your cinematic storytelling with confidence.

Features:
True T1.5 High-Speed Aperture for Consistent Cinematic Exposure
The Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime Lens uses a true T-stop measurement, not a photo-style f-stop, meaning the light transmission you set is the light transmission you get. This is critical for professional cinema work where exposure consistency across multiple lenses and scenes matters. The fast T1.5 aperture allows filmmakers to shoot confidently in low-light environments while maintaining controlled highlights and shadow detail. It also enables shallow depth of field without relying on extreme lighting setups, giving productions more flexibility, faster setups, and a cleaner workflow on set.
Full-Frame Coverage Built for 6K and 8K Cinema Cameras
Designed with a 43.3mm image circle, this lens fully covers full-frame sensors and exceeds Super 35 requirements, making it compatible with today’s high-resolution cinema cameras and future upgrades. The optical design is optimized for 6K–8K capture, ensuring fine detail, contrast, and clarity across the entire frame. This level of coverage reduces vignetting and edge softness, allowing cinematographers to reframe, crop, or stabilize footage in post without sacrificing image integrity.
Precision Optical Design for Sharpness Without a Clinical Look
With 13 elements in 11 groups, including advanced low-dispersion and aspherical elements, the Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF balances sharpness with natural rendering. Images remain crisp without appearing overly digital or harsh, preserving skin tones and textures while maintaining excellent micro-contrast. This makes the lens ideal for narrative filmmaking, commercials, and documentaries where realism and emotional tone matter as much as resolution.
Smooth, Cinematic Bokeh with a 9-Blade Rounded Diaphragm
The lens features a 9-blade rounded aperture designed to produce smooth, pleasing bokeh and natural highlight transitions. Out-of-focus areas fall off gradually, helping subjects stand out while keeping backgrounds visually pleasing rather than distracting. This contributes directly to a more cinematic aesthetic, especially in close-ups and dialogue-driven scenes where emotional connection is key.
Long Focus Throw for Accurate, Repeatable Focus Pulls
A 180-degree focus rotation gives focus pullers the precision they need for demanding shots. This extended throw allows for subtle adjustments and repeatable marks, making it easier to maintain sharp focus during movement, rack focuses, or complex blocking. The mechanical damping is tuned specifically for cinema use, providing smooth resistance without backlash or inconsistency.
Clickless Iris with Linear Response for Seamless Exposure Changes
The 60-degree clickless iris rotation ensures smooth, silent aperture adjustments during recording. Because the iris response is linear, exposure changes remain predictable and consistent—critical for live adjustments during takes. This allows cinematographers to adapt to lighting changes without visible stepping or audible clicks that could compromise a shot.
Industry-Standard Cine Gears for Professional Rig Compatibility
Both the focus and iris rings use 0.8 MOD gears, the industry standard for professional cinema rigs. This guarantees compatibility with follow focus systems, wireless motors, and lens control units. Gear positions are standardized across Sigma’s FF High-Speed Prime lineup, allowing fast lens swaps without repositioning motors, saving time on set and reducing production friction.
Consistent Color Science Across the Sigma FF High-Speed Prime Line
Sigma designs its cinema lenses with consistent color reproduction across the entire FF High-Speed Prime series. This ensures seamless intercutting between focal lengths without time-consuming color matching in post. For productions using multiple Sigma primes, this consistency translates into faster grading, reduced correction costs, and a more unified visual style.
Rugged All-Metal Construction for Demanding Production Environments
The lens features a full metal housing engineered for long-term professional use. Its dust- and splash-resistant construction allows it to perform reliably in challenging environments such as outdoor shoots, travel productions, and extended shooting days. Laser-engraved markings resist wear, ensuring legibility even after heavy use.
Standardized 95mm Front Diameter for Efficient Lens Changes
A 95mm front diameter allows compatibility with common matte boxes and filters, reducing the need for adapter rings or rig changes. This standardization speeds up lens swaps and keeps production moving, especially in fast-paced commercial or narrative shoots.
Close Focus Capability for Creative Flexibility
With a minimum focus distance of 0.3 meters, the Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF allows for intimate close-ups and detail shots without compromising optical performance. This expands creative options, enabling tighter framing and more expressive storytelling without switching lenses.
Professional Mount Options with Metadata Support
Available in PL mount with Cooke /i Technology, Canon EF, and Sony E-mount, the lens integrates seamlessly into professional workflows. The PL version provides lens metadata such as focus distance and aperture for VFX, virtual production, and advanced post-production pipelines, improving accuracy and efficiency in modern cinema workflows.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
