Discover the Tokina Cinema Firecrest Ultra 4x4 Neutral Density Filter and experience unparalleled neutrality across all spectrums - including UV, visible, and infrared. Rather than dyed resin, Formatt Hitech uses a rare earth mineral coating used to create hyper-neutral NDs. The 0.3 (1 Stop), 0.6 (2 Stops), 0.9 (3 Stops), 1.2 (4 Stops), 1.5 (5 Stops), 1.8 (6 Stops), 2.1 (7 Stops), 2.4 (8 Stops), 2.7 (9 Stops), 3.0 (10 Stops), and 4.8 (16 Stops) filters are made from 4mm thick Schott Superwite glass, and the multicoating is bonded in the middle to increase scratch resistance.

Firecrest Ultra IRNDs are world-class carbon-based IRND filters with hyper-neutral color balance which can be used for uniform near infrared filtration allowing your camera's color science to remain untouched. These filters are equally compatible with Arri, RED, Blackmagic Design, Canon, Panasonic, and other modern digital cinema cameras allowing the image to be captured as the manufacturer intended. They have the same features as the popular 4mm Cine Firecrest ND. For cinema sizes, the 4mm Firecrest ND was always lapped and polished whereas the 2mm photography versions were not. 4mm Firecrest ND and 4mm Firecrest Ultra IRND both have identical optical performance with the engraving being the only difference.
