Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12K with OLPF

Introducing Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12K with OLPF – the ultimate solution for professional-grade filmmaking. A revolution in digital film, this pro video camera uses a 12,288 x 6480 12K Super35 sensor, a new color science, and up to 14 stops of dynamic range to produce extraordinarily detailed images. It features new color science and shoots 80 megapixels per frame in Blackmagic RAW. You also get built-in ND filters, user changeable lens mount, and recording to dual CFast or SD cards. Plus, it even supports recording directly to a flash disk or SSD using its built-in SuperSpeed USB‑C connection!
The URSA Mini Pro 12K OLPF incorporates an optical low-pass filter that reduces unwanted image interference while filming in virtual production settings, in addition to providing improved infrared filtering. The camera can record at various rates, including 60 fps in 12K 17:9 full sensor, up to 75 fps in 12K 2.4:1, 120 fps in 8K, and up to 240 fps in 4K Super16. Overall, the Blackagic Design URSA Mini Pro 12K is a highly advanced and versatile digital cinema camera that delivers exceptional image quality and a range of powerful features for professional filmmakers.
More details:
- Cinematic Super 35 12K Sensor - The Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K features a revolutionary new sensor with a native resolution of 12,288 x 6480, which is an incredible 80 megapixels per frame! You can shoot 12K at 60 fps or use in-sensor scaling to allow 8K or 4K RAW at up to 120 fps without cropping or changing your field of view.
- Shoot in 12K, Edit on a Laptop - The URSA Mini Pro 12K sensor and Blackmagic RAW were designed together to make 12-bit RAW workflows in 12K effortless. As an incredibly efficient next-generation codec Blackmagic RAW lets you shoot 12K and edit on a laptop, a capability that simply isn’t possible with other codecs. The massive resolution of the sensor means you can reframe shots in post for delivery in 8K and 4K. It’s like a multi-camera shoot with only one camera. And it’s perfect for great-looking vertical and square video, too.
- Generation 5 Color Science - Blackmagic Generation 5 Color Science features a new film curve designed to make full use of the massive amount of color data from the new URSA Mini Pro 12K sensor. This delivers even better color response for more pleasing skin tones and better rendering of highly saturated colors such as neon signs and car tail lights in high-contrast scenes.
- USB-C for Direct Recording to External Disks - Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro features an innovative high-speed USB-C Expansion Port. The 4.6K G2 model features USB‑C 3.1 Gen 1 which operates at up to 5 Gb/s, while the new 12K model has a USB‑C 3.1 Gen 2 for a blistering 10 Gb/s. You can connect and power external flash disks and SSDs or on URSA Mini Pro 12K you can connect the new URSA Mini Recorder for recording to fast NVMe SSD drives for longer recording times.
- Wireless Bluetooth Camera Control - If you're positioning the camera on the end of a jib or gimbal, you can get full control via Bluetooth from up to 30 feet away. You can download the Blackmagic Camera Control app for your iPad or use third-party apps such as Bluetooth+ or trigger on your iOS and Android devices. There’s even a free developer SDK with sample code available from the Blackmagic Design developer website, so you can create your own remote camera control and digital slate solutions!
- Optional Shoulder Mount Kit - URSA Mini Pro cameras include multiple ¼ inch mount points on the bottom so you can attach them directly to any tripod. When you need to quickly move from tripod to handheld and back, you can use the optional Blackmagic URSA Mini Shoulder Kit. This kit includes the shoulder pad with built-in rosettes, rail mounts, and integrated quick lock release attachment points for instantly latching onto the quick-release plate without removing the shoulder pad.
