Fujinon 7x50 FMTRC-SX Polaris Binoculars – Marine-Grade Precision Optics with Integrated Global Compass
The Fujinon 7x50 FMTRC-SX Polaris Binoculars stand as the ultimate expression of optical precision and marine-grade reliability, engineered for professionals and enthusiasts who demand nothing less than uncompromising performance in the harshest environments on Earth. The heart of this instrument is its brilliant 7× magnification coupled with a wide 50 mm objective lens, delivering a spectacularly bright, stable, and distortion-free image even in near-dark conditions. Designed for military, maritime, rescue, and long-range observation, these binoculars are built like a precision instrument inside an armor-plated body—every component meticulously aligned, nitrogen-purged, and O-ring sealed to achieve complete waterproofing and fog-proof reliability. Whether you’re navigating turbulent waters at dusk or scanning vast terrain under glaring daylight, the FMTRC-SX Polaris gives you a view so true to life that every detail—from distant horizon markers to fine contour lines—appears razor-sharp and impeccably flat across the entire field of view.
What sets the FMTRC-SX apart is Fujinon’s proprietary EBC (Electron Beam Coating) multi-layer technology, applied to every air-to-glass surface for up to 95% light transmission, ensuring maximum brightness, contrast, and color fidelity. This advanced optical coating works in harmony with Fujinon’s acclaimed field-flattener lens system, a hallmark of professional-grade Fujinon optics that eliminates edge distortion, maintaining pinpoint sharpness from center to periphery. The result is a wide, immersive 7.5-degree real field of view (49.3° apparent)—equivalent to 131 meters at 1000 meters—ideal for tracking fast-moving subjects or scanning open seascapes. The massive 7.1 mm exit pupil guarantees a vibrant, stable image even under dim twilight or overcast skies, while the generous 23 mm eye relief ensures fatigue-free viewing for both eyeglass wearers and bare-eyed users alike.
Precision navigation is another defining strength of the Polaris series. The integrated global compass, precisely calibrated to an accuracy of ±0.5°, enables reliable bearing readings anywhere on the planet, displaying headings directly within the left optical barrel. Combined with an internal mil-scale reticle, users can calculate distances, heights, and object sizes with remarkable accuracy—a vital advantage for maritime captains, surveyors, or rescue personnel who rely on exact measurements in real time. The individual focus system (IF) allows each eyepiece to be adjusted independently, maintaining focus from 20 meters to infinity once set, ensuring consistent clarity in demanding, fast-changing scenarios.
Every aspect of the FMTRC-SX Polaris reflects Fujifilm’s legacy in professional optics. The robust Porro-prism design enhances image depth and three-dimensional realism, while the impact-resistant, mil-spec aluminum alloy chassis absorbs shock and vibration without compromising optical alignment. Encased in a thick, non-slip rubber armor, these binoculars resist corrosion and physical wear, offering a secure grip even with gloved or wet hands. Rated for submersion up to 2 meters for five minutes, the unit remains operational in torrential rain, salt spray, or freezing polar conditions. Operating flawlessly from –20 °C to +50 °C, the FMTRC-SX Polaris thrives where ordinary binoculars fail.
Ergonomically, Fujinon has engineered this masterpiece for endurance. The 56–74 mm interpupillary adjustment accommodates all users, while the ±5 diopter correction range ensures precise focusing for both eyes. Fold-down rubber eyecups adapt easily for glasses or naked-eye viewing, and tethered objective and ocular caps prevent loss in rugged environments. Each pair ships complete with a soft carrying case, neck strap, and protective covers—ready for field deployment the moment it’s unboxed. Despite its robust construction, the FMTRC-SX remains surprisingly balanced, weighing only 1.46 kg (51.5 oz) for optimal steadiness in hand or on a tripod mount (optional).
When compared to competitors, the Fujinon 7×50 FMTRC-SX Polaris simply outclasses them in optical integrity, durability, and navigational precision. Many binoculars boast waterproofing or multi-coating, but few can claim a heritage rooted in Fujifilm’s broadcast-grade and military-specification optics—the same technology trusted aboard naval vessels, aircraft, and research expeditions worldwide. These binoculars are not merely viewing tools; they are a strategic advantage for professionals who depend on situational awareness and absolute visual accuracy. Backed by Fujifilm’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, the Polaris series embodies the perfect synergy of innovation and resilience.
For adventurers, mariners, and tactical operators who refuse to compromise, the Fujinon 7×50 FMTRC-SX Polaris Binoculars deliver unmatched clarity, confidence, and craftsmanship. With field-flattened optics, EBC-enhanced brightness, a precision global compass, and military-grade construction, they provide more than an image—they provide certainty. When the horizon blurs and the stakes rise, trust the optics built to conquer distance, defy weather, and illuminate every unseen detail of your world.
Features:
Unmatched Optical Clarity with 7× Magnification and 50mm Objective Lenses
The Fujinon 7x50 FMTRC-SX Polaris Binoculars are built around a high-precision optical system that delivers exceptional brightness and clarity even under low-light or harsh marine conditions. The 7× magnification provides a perfect balance between image stability and detailed zoom, while the large 50mm objective lenses gather maximum light for vivid, high-contrast visuals. Whether scanning the horizon or observing distant targets, the wide field of view ensures you never miss critical details.
Field-Flattener Lens System for Edge-to-Edge Sharpness
Unlike conventional binoculars that produce distortion or blur at the image edges, the FMTRC-SX Polaris uses Fujinon’s advanced field-flattener optical technology. This system maintains uniform sharpness across the entire view, eliminating curvature and delivering images that are crisp from center to periphery. It’s particularly valuable for professionals who need accurate, distortion-free visuals for navigation, surveying, or tactical operations.
EBC Multi-Coated Optics for Maximum Light Transmission
Every lens and prism surface in these binoculars is treated with Fujinon’s proprietary EBC (Electron Beam Coating), resulting in an impressive 95% light transmission rate. This coating dramatically enhances brightness, contrast, and color fidelity, even in twilight or overcast conditions. The result is a remarkably luminous image that allows users to identify objects clearly when visibility is critical.
Integrated Global Compass with ±0.5° Accuracy
The built-in global compass is calibrated to provide precise directional readings anywhere in the world. Displayed directly within the left optical barrel, it enables quick and accurate heading determination without external tools. With an accuracy of ±0.5°, this feature is invaluable for mariners, rescue teams, and outdoor professionals who rely on dependable navigation under pressure.
Built-In Mil-Scale Reticle for Ranging and Measurement
Complementing the compass, the FMTRC-SX includes a precision mil-scale reticle that allows users to estimate distances, object sizes, and bearings directly within the viewing field. Graduated in milliradians, it’s ideal for tactical or nautical applications where range estimation and object height measurement are essential. This dual-function design transforms the binoculars into a full-fledged observation and navigation instrument.
Exceptional Low-Light Performance with a 7.1mm Exit Pupil
The extra-wide 7.1mm exit pupil ensures the binoculars deliver a bright, stable image even in dim lighting conditions such as dawn, dusk, or fog. Combined with Fujinon’s optical coatings, it maximizes the human eye’s natural light intake, allowing operators to maintain situational awareness and target visibility during night or stormy operations.
Long 23mm Eye Relief for Glasses-Friendly Viewing
Extended observation sessions demand comfort. The FMTRC-SX provides a generous 23mm eye relief, reducing eye strain and accommodating users who wear glasses without sacrificing field of view. The fold-down rubber eyecups offer flexibility, enabling quick adjustments between eyewear and direct eye use in seconds.
Rugged Military-Grade Construction for Extreme Environments
Encased in a durable aluminum-alloy chassis and fully covered with non-slip rubber armor, the FMTRC-SX Polaris is built to withstand heavy impact, recoil, and environmental stress. It resists corrosion from saltwater, moisture, and heat, maintaining performance even in the most challenging maritime or field conditions. Its robust design meets military specifications for shock resistance, making it a reliable tool for defense, marine, and industrial use.
Nitrogen-Purged, Waterproof, and Fog-Proof Design
Each binocular is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed, ensuring zero internal fogging and full waterproofing. Tested to remain watertight up to 2 meters (6.6 ft) for five minutes, it continues to perform flawlessly during rainstorms, sea spray exposure, or full submersion. This makes it a trusted companion for shipboard navigation, marine patrols, and search-and-rescue missions.
Wide Operating Temperature Range for All-Season Use
The FMTRC-SX Polaris operates effortlessly in temperatures from –20°C to +50°C (–4°F to 122°F). Whether used in freezing arctic expeditions or scorching tropical environments, it maintains consistent optical performance without fogging, distortion, or mechanical failure. This all-weather reliability ensures professionals can depend on it anywhere in the world.
Individual Focus System for Precision Control
Fujinon’s Individual Focus (IF) mechanism allows each eyepiece to be fine-tuned independently for optimal focus. Once set, the binoculars remain focused from mid-range to infinity, reducing the need for constant adjustment in fast-moving scenarios. This design provides precision control and consistent clarity for long-term viewing or surveillance applications.
Ergonomic and Balanced Design for Extended Use
Despite its heavy-duty construction, the binoculars are well-balanced at 1.46 kg (51.5 oz), providing steady handling during prolonged use. The ergonomically contoured body and textured grip reduce fatigue and ensure firm control, even in wet or gloved conditions. The thoughtful design allows stable viewing without tripod support, though a tripod adapter socket is available for stationary use.
Comprehensive Accessory Set for Professional Readiness
Each unit ships with tethered objective and eyepiece caps, a durable neck strap, and a protective soft carrying case, ensuring the optics remain secure and clean when not in use. Every detail—from packaging to included accessories—reflects Fujinon’s commitment to professional usability and field-readiness straight out of the box.
Lifetime Warranty and Fujifilm’s Proven Optical Heritage
The Fujinon Polaris line is backed by Fujifilm’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, a testament to the company’s century-long expertise in optical engineering. It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
