Features:
Ultra-Bright T1.3 Aperture for Maximum Cinematic Impact
The Sigma Aizu Prime 25mm T1.3 LF stands out with its exceptionally fast T1.3 aperture, enabling filmmakers to capture scenes with dramatic shallow depth of field and expressive isolation even on a wide focal length. This speed provides unmatched creative versatility—allowing you to shoot in low-light environments without sacrificing clarity or dynamic range. Whether you’re crafting emotional close-ups or atmospheric wide shots, the T1.3 aperture ensures your visuals maintain the cinematic richness and character today’s audiences expect.
Large-Format 46.3mm Image Circle for Professional Camera Compatibility
Designed specifically for modern cinema workflows, the lens features a 46.3mm image circle, fully supporting Full Frame, Super 35, ARRI LF Open Gate, and VistaVision sensors. This broad compatibility empowers filmmakers to use the lens across multiple camera platforms without vignetting or quality loss. For productions relying on large-format sensors to maximize detail and depth, this lens delivers full coverage and exceptional optical performance, making it a future-proof investment.
Optical Design Engineered Exclusively for Cinema
Unlike rehoused stills lenses, the Aizu Prime is built from the ground up for cinematic performance. Its optical formula balances high resolution with natural softness, eliminating the overly clinical look common in many modern lenses. This produces a refined, filmic character with smooth highlight roll-off, accurate color, and controlled contrast—ideal for narrative, commercial, and high-end branded content. Every frame benefits from a rendering style that feels both modern and emotionally grounded.
Minimized Focus Breathing for Superior Visual Consistency
Sigma’s engineering ensures that this lens exhibits extremely low focus breathing, keeping the field of view stable during focus transitions. This is a critical advantage for dramatic pulls, rack focusing, or movements that rely on maintaining spatial integrity. Low breathing enhances viewer immersion, ensuring the audience stays connected to the story without distraction, and giving cinematographers true professional consistency across shots.
Close-Focus Capability for Dynamic Wide-Angle Storytelling
With a minimum focus distance of 0.31m, the 25mm T1.3 LF enables striking close-up compositions that amplify tension and emotional intensity. This capability makes it perfect for capturing subjects in tight spaces, emphasizing facial expressions, or creating a sense of visual urgency. When paired with its fast aperture and wide perspective, close focusing becomes a storytelling tool that enhances drama and engagement.
13-Blade Iris for Smooth, Velvety Bokeh
The precision-engineered 13-blade aperture creates beautifully rounded bokeh, ensuring out-of-focus elements appear smooth and visually appealing. This contributes significantly to scene atmosphere, especially in low-light or portrait-like compositions. Whether you are creating dreamy backgrounds or shaping light sources into cinematic orbs, the iris design enhances every frame with controlled elegance.
Robust All-Metal Housing Built for Demanding Productions
The Aizu Prime features a fully metal, anodized aluminum construction designed to withstand the stress of professional filmmaking environments. Its reinforced chassis, stable mechanics, and resistance to temperature shifts make it dependable on set. The build quality ensures long-term durability, while maintaining the tactile precision camera operators and focus pullers require for repeatable, high-stakes shots.
Standardized 95mm Front Diameter for Fast On-Set Workflow
Every lens in the Aizu Prime line, including the 25mm, shares a 95mm front outer diameter, streamlining matte box compatibility and accessory changes. This standardization saves valuable time during production by allowing crews to swap lenses quickly without adjusting clamp-on systems or reconfiguring rigs. When efficiency matters—on commercials, run-and-gun shoots, or multi-scene setups—this consistency becomes a measurable advantage.
270° Focus Rotation for Highly Accurate Focus Pulls
The extended 270° focus throw provides precise manual control, making fine adjustments smooth and repeatable. This wider rotation arc gives focus pullers more room to work with, especially during complicated movements or shallow-depth shots at T1.3. The mechanical precision dramatically enhances operational confidence, ensuring professional results even under challenging conditions.
Advanced Metadata Support for Seamless Post-Production Integration
The lens supports both Cooke /i and ZEISS eXtended Data on PL versions, as well as Sony E protocol on E-mount versions. This metadata capability enhances VFX workflows, color consistency, and post-production accuracy by feeding critical lens information directly into compatible camera systems. Productions that rely on CGI, virtual production, or data-driven color pipelines benefit significantly from this sophisticated level of integration.
Unified Size and Weight Across the Aizu Prime Line
Maintaining an approximately 1.6–1.7 kg weight and similar housing dimensions across all focal lengths, the Aizu Prime series ensures reliable interchangeability. This consistency minimizes the need for rebalancing on gimbals, Steadicams, or shoulder rigs when changing lenses. Crews save time, operators maintain momentum, and productions avoid unnecessary delays—an invaluable advantage when shooting on tight schedules.
Luminescent Engraved Markings for Low-Light Usability
The precision-engraved markings use luminescent paint, enhancing visibility during nighttime shoots or dimly lit sets. This allows operators and assistants to adjust focus and iris settings quickly without relying solely on external lighting tools. In fast-paced environments where every second matters, this feature enhances efficiency and accuracy.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
