Designed to meet the demands of the most challenging shoots, the Manfrotto 290 Xtra Aluminum Tripod with 804 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head extends from 16.5" to a maximum height of 67.5", weighs 5.6 lb, and can hold up to 22 lb of gear. The tripod's 3-section legs have flip locks that allow you to adjust the height of each leg separately. The locks are designed to be tension-adjustable, ensuring that they remain tightly locked throughout the tripod's useful life. Its head is made from technical polymer making it lightweight and durable, and also includes a quick-release plate for added security and easier set-up.
Designed for photographers just starting out, every part of this tripod with a fluid head is easy to use. The 3-section tripod is totally rigid thanks to robust but lightweight aluminum leg tubes, with innovative top casting to further enhance durability and performance. The leg locking levers are tension adjustable, allowing you to adjust to combat wear and tear and prolong the life of the stand. The rubber leg warmers also provide stability in all weather conditions and on any terrain. Once you are set up, you have the flexibility to shoot from various angles due to its 4 leg angle positions, or by using the centre column to increase the height range.
