Features:
Art-Series Optical Performance for Professional Image Quality
The Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art Lens is engineered within Sigma’s prestigious Art line, known globally for delivering uncompromising optical precision. Its advanced optical configuration—featuring 19 elements in 14 groups—ensures exceptional resolution, contrast, and color accuracy even on ultra-high-resolution Nikon DSLR bodies. Every photo benefits from edge-to-edge clarity, minimal aberrations, and a controlled rendering style crafted for photographers who depend on premium results. Whether shooting commercial projects, editorial content, or studio-grade imagery, this Art-class optical performance helps you achieve visually striking results without the premium OEM price.
Versatile 24–105mm Zoom Range for All Shooting Scenarios
Covering ultra-wide landscapes at 24mm, everyday scenes at 35mm, flattering portraits at 70mm, and tight detail work at 105mm, this lens replaces multiple lenses in your bag with a single, highly efficient tool. It is ideal for travel shooters, event photographers, wedding professionals, documentary storytellers, and creators who need flexibility without sacrificing quality. Instead of switching lenses and missing critical moments, the 24–105mm focal range keeps you ready for every creative opportunity, making it an essential do-everything zoom for both amateurs and professionals.
Constant F4 Aperture for Consistent Exposure and Depth Control
A constant maximum aperture of F4 gives creators consistent exposure across the entire zoom range, eliminating the shifting light behavior common in variable-aperture lenses. This makes it especially valuable for video shooters, hybrid creators, and professionals who want reliable performance in fast-paced environments. Combined with the 9-blade rounded diaphragm, the F4 aperture produces smooth, creamy bokeh that enhances subject separation and brings emotional impact to portraits, product shots, and cinematic captures.
Advanced Low-Dispersion and Aspherical Elements for Clean, Corrected Images
This lens integrates multiple premium glass elements—2 FLD, 2 SLD, and 3 aspherical lenses—specifically designed to combat chromatic aberration, distortion, color fringing, and field curvature. The result is cleaner, sharper images with noticeable improvement in contrast and micro-detail. These optical elements work together to maintain straight lines, preserve realistic color, and keep even the outer edges of the frame sharp. For photographers shooting architecture, landscapes, or commercial work where precision matters, this advanced glass arrangement is a major competitive advantage.
Built-In Optical Stabilizer for Sharper Handheld Shots
Sigma’s Optical Stabilizer (OS) technology greatly reduces camera shake, allowing you to shoot handheld at slower shutter speeds without losing detail. This feature is especially valuable in low-light environments, indoor shooting, travel scenarios, and handheld video production. OS helps maintain image sharpness and keeps footage smoother, giving photographers and filmmakers the confidence to work without a tripod while still achieving professional-grade stability.
Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for Fast, Silent, and Accurate Autofocus
The Hyper Sonic Motor delivers exceptionally fast and nearly silent autofocus performance, ideal for still photography and video alike. This motor ensures quick subject acquisition, smooth tracking, and minimal noise—an essential advantage for weddings, wildlife, portrait sessions, and on-set environments where quiet operation is required. With full-time manual focus override, you maintain complete creative control, enabling precision adjustments without interrupting your workflow.
Premium Build with Thermally Stable Composite and Brass Bayonet Mount
Constructed using Thermally Stable Composite (TSC), the lens maintains dimensional stability across temperature shifts, ensuring long-term performance and accuracy in various environments. The brass bayonet mount offers superior durability, secure attachment, and long-term reliability compared to traditional mounts. This robust build quality makes the lens suitable for professional field use, travel, and demanding production environments, giving creators confidence in both durability and performance.
Rounded 9-Blade Diaphragm for Smooth, Beautiful Bokeh
The 9-blade rounded diaphragm enhances the aesthetic quality of out-of-focus areas, delivering circular, smooth bokeh that elevates portraits and close-up images. This design creates a more natural, artistic background blur that enhances emotional storytelling and gives your images a premium, visually pleasing finish. Whether capturing candid portraits or close product shots, the aperture design ensures elegant depth that makes subjects stand out.
Close Focusing Capability for Detailed Close-Up Shots
With a minimum focusing distance of 45cm and a 0.22× magnification ratio, this lens delivers impressive close-up performance for a standard zoom. It allows creators to capture detailed product photos, textures, food images, and macro-style compositions without switching to a dedicated macro lens. This enhanced versatility adds tremendous value for commercial shooters, social content creators, and photographers who need detailed imagery on the go.
Large 82mm Filter Thread for Professional Creative Control
The 82mm filter thread allows the use of high-quality UV, ND, CPL, and specialty filters without vignetting or optical compromise. This is especially beneficial for landscape photographers, videographers, and commercial creators who rely on filters for exposure control and creative effects. The large front element ensures optimal light transmission and contributes to the overall high optical performance of the lens.
USB Dock Compatibility for Firmware Updates and Custom Tuning
The Sigma USB Dock (sold separately) allows users to perform firmware updates and fine-tune autofocus behavior to match their shooting style or specific Nikon DSLR body. This ability to customize AF speed, accuracy, and performance settings gives creators an extra layer of precision and control not typically available on competing lenses, making it a future-proof investment.
- Landscape Photography – Capture expansive, sharp, and vibrant wide-angle scenes at 24mm with excellent edge-to-edge clarity and minimal distortion.
- Portrait Photography – Use the mid-telephoto range (70–105mm) with smooth background blur from the 9-blade diaphragm for professional-looking portraits.
- Event and Wedding Photography – Its versatile zoom range and Optical Stabilizer make it perfect for handheld shooting in dynamic environments with varied lighting.
- Travel Photography – A single lens that covers wide, mid, and telephoto perspectives, reducing the need to carry multiple lenses while maintaining high image quality.
- Street Photography – Discreet autofocus and flexible focal length options allow for candid captures of subjects in diverse urban settings.

- Constant f/4 aperture: Provides consistent exposure and depth control
- Optical Stabilizer: Ensures sharper handheld shots
- Fast, quiet autofocus: Powered by the HSM motor
- Premium Art-series build: Durable TSC material with brass bayonet mount
- Beautiful bokeh: Produced by the rounded 9-blade diaphragm
- Large 82mm filter thread: Ideal for ND, CPL, and other professional filters
- Close-focusing capability: 0.22x magnification for detailed shots

Cons
- Not fully weather-sealed: Requires caution in extreme environments
- Heavier build: Weighs more than typical standard zoom lenses
- Extending zoom barrel: May allow dust entry in harsh conditions
- No zoom lock: Lacks a locking mechanism for transport
- Teleconverter compatibility: Not supported by Sigma teleconverters
- f/4 aperture limitation: May not satisfy low-light shooters needing f/2.8
- Rounded diaphragm - When photographing with point light sources such as electric lights or reflections on a body of water in the background, the rounded 9-blade diaphragm helps produce an attractive bokeh effect—even at large-aperture settings.
- HSM (hypersonic motor) - Delivers high AF speed and extremely quiet performance. An optimized algorithm offers even smoother automatic focusing, and full-time manual focus override is another key feature.
- Excellent handling - Positioning the zoom ring at the front of the lens helps make possible a slim barrel design. In addition, the wide, thick zoom ring contributes to the lens’s high usability. Thanks to SIGMA’s inner focus technologies, adjusting the focus and zoom rings does not change the length of the lens, resulting in excellent handling. Since the front of the lens does not move, the lens can be used with a circular polarizing filter.
- TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) - A first for the industry, the barrel of the lens features a new TSC (Thermally Stable Composite) that offers minimal thermal shrinkage combined with exceptional hardness. It also offers 25% greater elasticity than polycarbonate. Since its thermal shrinkage is low, TSC matches well with metal parts, further contributing to the high-precision construction of the lens. TSC also makes possible slimmer forms for parts like zoom rings and scaling rings.
- Flare and ghosting reduction - SIGMA’s Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting to help photographers produce sharp and high-contrast images even in backlit conditions. The included lens hood can be attached to block out extraneous light, which can have a negative effect on rendering performance.
- High-precision, rugged brass bayonet mount - The brass mount combines high precision with rugged construction. Its treated surfaces and enhanced strength contribute to the exceptional durability of the lens.

Is the Sigma 24-105mm F4.0 DG OS HSM Art Lens compatible with my Nikon camera?
Yes. This lens is designed for Nikon F-mount DSLRs. It fully supports full-frame (FX) Nikon bodies and also works on DX (APS-C) Nikon DSLRs, where it provides an effective field of view equivalent to approximately 36–157mm. If your camera uses the Nikon F mount (e.g., D750, D850, D610, D5600, D7500, etc.), this lens will be compatible.
What types of photography is the Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art best suited for?
The Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art is a highly versatile standard zoom suitable for portraits, events, weddings, travel, landscapes, lifestyle, product, and general commercial work. Its 24–105mm focal range covers wide-angle, normal, and short telephoto perspectives, making it an ideal “one-lens solution” for photographers who need flexibility without constantly changing lenses.
Does this lens have image stabilization?
Yes. The lens is equipped with Sigma’s Optical Stabilizer (OS), which helps counteract camera shake and allows you to shoot at slower shutter speeds while maintaining sharpness. This is especially useful for low-light scenes, indoor events, and handheld video recording where a tripod may not be practical.
How fast and quiet is the autofocus on this lens?
Autofocus is driven by Sigma’s Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM), which provides fast, smooth, and very quiet focusing performance. This makes the lens ideal for both still photography and video work. Additionally, it supports full-time manual focus override, so you can fine-tune focus at any time simply by rotating the focus ring.
Can I use this lens for close-up or product photography?
Yes. With a minimum focusing distance of about 45 cm and a maximum magnification of approximately 0.22x, the Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art can handle detailed close-up shots of products, food, and small objects. While it is not a dedicated macro lens, it offers more than enough close-focusing performance for most commercial, catalog, and social media product photography needs.
Is the Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art weather-sealed?
The lens features a robust build with Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) materials and a solid brass bayonet mount, but it is not advertised as fully weather-sealed. It can handle regular professional use, but for heavy rain, dust, or extreme environments, additional protection (such as a rain cover) is recommended.
What filter size does this lens use, and can I use ND or CPL filters?
The Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art uses a large 82mm front filter thread. You can mount UV, circular polarizing (CPL), neutral density (ND), and other creative filters directly. The front element does not rotate during focusing, which is particularly helpful when using polarizing filters or graduated ND filters.
What is included in the box when I purchase this lens?
Typically, the lens comes with an 82mm front lens cap, a rear cap for Nikon F mount, a petal-shaped lens hood, and a padded soft case. This gives you everything you need to start shooting immediately while keeping the lens protected during storage and transport.
Can I fine-tune autofocus or update firmware on this lens?
Yes. The Sigma 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM Art is compatible with the optional Sigma USB Dock (sold separately). Using the dock and Sigma Optimization Pro software, you can update lens firmware and fine-tune autofocus settings to match your shooting style and specific Nikon camera body, offering extra precision and customization.
Why should I choose the Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art over a kit zoom lens?
Compared to most kit zooms, the Sigma 24-105mm F4 Art offers superior optical quality, a constant f/4 aperture, better low-dispersion and aspherical glass, a more robust build, and more consistent sharpness across the frame. It is built to meet professional demands, delivering cleaner images, smoother bokeh, and more reliable performance, making it a powerful long-term investment for serious photographers and working professionals.

It is so nice to see a small family owned shop instead of these big box stores. I generally felt cared about when getting my blackmagic cinema camera. Love the quality of the images and how easy it is to use.

This small business has the best customer service HANDS DOWN!!
Lucas worked with me diligently to help me find a camera that would fit my needs and that would arrive in time for my trip. I take photos, but wanted a smaller, more compact camera to take with me when traveling. He even reached out to other camera experts to make sure he was giving me the best advice for the equipment that would accommodate my needs!
Lucas was patient with me and was in constant contact with the camera supplier to keep me updated on the status of my order and when the items would be ready for shipment. Once my order arrived to the store, it was in my hands in less than 2 days. I would give 10 stars to this business if I could!!
SHOP SMALL! :)
AMAZING SERVICE!
In short: I was able to receive the black colorway below retail and free next day shipping with the promos that they offered for being a new camera web-shop based from AZ.
Long story: Lucas who is prolly the only rep for the company cuz they're so small is the best dude ever. Since i ordered he responded on emails and updates quicker than some of my friends texting me back about where am at on the list as people just kept cancelling their order. I went from 9th place in line to 4th place in line for the silver. And he hit me up saying that they were still waiting on Fuji to send shipping updates and that no company knows what they get on their weekly fuji shipments other than from a 24 hour window of receiving shipping details.
He then noted that there were two black X100Vs available that were reserved to customers who ordered but have not confirmed. I said if they dont confirm please let me know and ill take that instead of the silver. The next day he hits me saying the customer said to cancel and he sent me an invoice. I ordered accessories for the camera on amazon right after and my package for the camera came before my amazon package. Lucas was super nice and transparent about everything. Dope experience from NUZIRA.
Lucas was so incredibly helpful!!! I’ve genuinely never had better customer service. They offered to stay late so I could get my order and were so patient with all my questions. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

NUZIRA MADE MY MONTH!
I was a little concerned when I first came across this small business but I am so so thankful I di! They have the NICESt staff and customer service. I have been on the waitlist for this camera for a few months now so when Lucas called saying they had it back in stock I was so freaking excited! Made my whole month. This camera absolutely lives up to the hype. I love how lightweight it is. I can pop it into any bag and head out the door. the images are crisp, high quality, and stunning. I use film sim and not film sim. The film simulations are nearly identical to real film. I have another fuji camera that does film sim but it can't even be compared to this one. I love my Fujifilm X100v so much! Amazing camera! Thanks you Nuzira!
